It’s the costume creator from an old MMO called City of Heroes. Sadly the game was shut down permanently in November, so using its character creator now requires a bit of trickery.

Anywho it’s been awhile since I opened up the ol’ Heromachine, so figured I’d get back and sharpen my skills a bit with another little tribute to my favourite faceless abomination.

A mysterious gun-slinging mercenary known only as “Patch”. Some people believe that there’s no body underneath all his rags and stitches, simply a large bundle of patchwork and cloth with only one desire: To put a bullet in your skull.

Since Patch seems to be getting quite a bit of praise, I decided to create this small scene with him. Here a man finds the stitched up mercenary unaware in an alley, and decides to find out for himself just what lies under that mask…
