Kaylin88100ParticipantThanks HK, and here’s another one, also a contest entry. This one is a bit less cute and more confident.

Ha ha! Haven’t we all
But seriously Kaylin, a nice entry you have here!September 14, 2012 at 1:34 am #10972
Herr DParticipantAs a point of interest, your acrobat wearing the motley is close to what you need for the trapeze. Feet and lower legs almost completely behind the thighs, mostly out of view for the catcher, standard flying pose with hands open for the robin. Much more difficult would be the pose where the legs are wrapped by the trapeze rope during preparation. The knife-thrower you might try the hand which is approximately American Sign Language for ‘a’ slightly open with knife tip ‘hidden’ between thumb and forefinger.

Kaylin88100ParticipantGamma World Contest entry
Heward: Male Telekinetic Felinoid. Heward is tall and slender, with striped black fur and amber eyes. He wears motley steel plate armor and wields a baseball bat and a light crossbow. Heward speaks with a soft voice.

Herr DParticipantLike your motley steel armor. It wasn’t easy to stripe fur evenly, was it? I ran into that.
October 13, 2012 at 4:40 am #12149
Kaylin88100ParticipantThanks! And yes, the stripes were hard. I used 3 separate iterations of the stripy pattern, plus the stripy tail, and 2 insignias for the face stripes. The armour, on the other hand, was only difficult because I had to repress my natural urge to have the bits and pieces matching!
