Here a recolour and slight edit of prswirve’s heavy duty stage 2. I changed the gun, I hope you don’t mind man.

BTW, as great as your new chapter is guys, shouldn’t we leave doing new chapters until after the images for the first chapter are done, ’cause if we keep putting them off, then they will probably not get done.

That is a good call. I was planning on focusing on images over the next couple of days.

In saying that though, before we advance the plot any further, I really would like to see another entry from Vampy, perhaps something along the lines of getting him to Times Square, and the same goes for your character JR, edge of my seat with the whole “And then it happened.” Would be nice to gather everyone pretty soon.

That and we haven’t had many opportunities to display powers as yet, I feel like once everyone has converged, the obtaining part of the list in the latest chapter could be good, everyone channeling their skills, for instance, there is at least one unpowered tourist in the group, I’d like someone to write him being petulant and running off, getting ambushed and blowing our cover, and perhaps Shu Ji utilising his kata to take out a squad of troops.

That’s just an idea, I don’t want to play the whole director card. But yeah

Like I say, and as JR suggests, it will be good to get onto images. I’m going to finish that walker, try to nail a slightly unique but not too far off look for Henare, and I want to try my hand at the ships and at the general/ceo of Ascension. Will see what I can get done by the end of the day

ok so i’ve bashed up this little peace for what i’m now calling the Assimilators (the huggers… you wanted a new name so what do ya think?). Basically the designs are a little complex to keep on creating in the machine, so if there are any aspects that you like then you’re welcome to em.

Ahh everything is overwhelming. I love that assimilator alex. Maybe it’ll look a lil’ menacing if you put more smaller legs on it’s tail, so it could walk better maybe? and also for diggin’ on the human’s back. bad ass…

as i take another glimpse on the walker, I now think it could be actually better that way… a war machine that HUGE could really be intimidating. Tanks would be no match for a thing that big…. again, awesome idea Iscarioto

Can I just make an observation here, and I’ll let Iscarioto have the last word on this because they’re his characters, but isn’t Shada from Saudi Arabia? So wouldn’t she have some sort of burka or other Islamic female headwear. Even if not, I can’t imagine her showing that much skin. It could be changed during colouring if it is changed, but as I said, it’s Iscarioto’s call.

Yeah i was thinking the same thing, started doing some coloring for it last night and changed Terrence up a bit, as well as started researching the standard dress for a Saudi business woman, making changes accordingly.

Just trying to work out a pallette really, trying to keep the colours very muted but will see how it comes across. We are going to try have seperate people shade right?
