Butch Dykeman is the friend of a girl named Toni Gay, in those comics. Ah, simpler times.

What’s wrong with Butch Dykeman’s right calf? for that matter his right forearm is strangely simian as well. Is it some form of fungus or perhaps a tumor? That would explain his irascible behavior toward young Dick Cornhole.
…Oh yeah, the writer’s knew exactly what they were doing with that delightful moniker. Now, it looks here like Harry Queen is getting a bit too frisky with the noticeably nervous Mr. Dykeman– sexual tension or gay revulsion? My money is on the former.
Notice how Mr. Dykeman looks all hot and bothered at his treatment? The little half-smile?
Yeah.
