So I was kind of stumped for a topic this week when I looked out my balcony window and there it was; sleet ice freezing rain and snow Yep it’s another Canadian winter.
So your challenge this week is to create a hero or villain with the power – or technology – necessary to drop temperatures dramatically causing ice and snow storms. Think Mr. Freeze or Ice Man.
The winner this week will receive my version of their design rendered in glorious HM3.

If you aren’t certain, don’t enter it, because I’m not going to go back through all of the contests and check.
All entries must be in JPG or PNG form (BMPs are too big), posted to a publicly accessible website (like the HeroMachine :,ImageShack, Deviant Art or whatever);Do not use Photobucket.

Wait a minute your Canadain!
Here’s my entry (which this prompt reminded me to finish lol): Michael Frost a.k.a. Glacier.
i love Canadians! I got family in Canada. Dunville and in other suburbs of Toranto and Niagra Falls.
Real Name: Florence Cuberg
Powers/Weapons: Combat Mastery, Ice Control, Liquid Nitrogen Blasters
Origin: An agent of I.C.E (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) he was born a mutant with his strange abilities. He eventually became a highly decorated officer that takes pride in his work and likes to present a cold hard demeanor but is actually pretty sweet inside. Later on, his father was found to be using illegal immigrants for cheap labor and he was forced to bring him in.
What’s not to love? 🙂
Susan Buchannan used to be an esteemed scientist, working on a special project for a local university. The project dealt with experiments regarding low temperatures. Unfortunately, the university cut her funding, and she was stripped of all her research. When Susan couldn’t find another job, she lost her car, her house, and eventually most of what she owned. All that she had left was now stored in a single storage unit, while Susan lived in a homeless shelter. One day, a mysterious man entered the shelter and gave her a business card that read “A Second Chance” featuring nothing else except for an address. With nothing left to lose, she went to the address the next morning, and was given an old leather-bound book with strange lettering on it. When she opened it, Susan was blinded by a bright white light, before passing out. But when she awoke, she had amazing powers, able to manipulate cold, ice, and snow. She was no longer Susan Buchannan, she was now Frostbite.
Here are my entries
Viktor Kryofsky was born a mutant. As a child he loved the cold, and often would run through the snow in nothing but his underwear. At a young age he found that he could freeze things with his touch, and often froze food for his parents to sell at the local market.
His parents never fully accepted his mutant powers, and eventually sent him to a government laboratory to see if they could cure him. After years of horrific experiments, that left him with hate for all humanity, Viktor escapes. He spends the rest of his life turning the world into a frozen wasteland. His powers, which are unimaginable, consisted of being able to pull all the heat from the air and dropping the temperature to subarctic levels. His powers also allow him to emit waves of super cooled fluid similar to liquid nitrogen , that freezes anything it touches.

I don’t usually submit more than one, but I thought Frostbite wasn’t exciting enough, so I made another character: Deep-Freeze
A villainous organization known as P.E.A.C.E. was conducting experiments on volunteers, hoping to create superhumans. They wanted to give Roger the ability to turn his body into ice, and manipulate cold temperatures. But several miscalculations occurred, and the experiment went terribly wrong. In order to keep him alive after the experiment, P.E.A.C.E. was forced to construct a suit for him that would keep his now ice-composed body intact. It also allowed him to breathe, as the experiment had damaged his respiratory system. P.E.A.C.E. was not happy with the outcome of the experiment, but Roger – now calling himself Deep-Freeze, viewed it as a complete success, which he could use to crush his enemies.
A darker take on this week’s prompt: Frostblade.
I was kind-of inspired by D&D cursed items, which resulted in the short story.
ICE BLAZER – Revision of an old archived character circuit 2011.
Frostblade in the cave, as described in the original’s description.
Hey, djuby. Is this a better resolution –
