Your Character Design Challenge this week is to create a superhero or villain using the three items indicated in the photo above as part of your design.
There is no limit on entries this week.
Rules for posts, contests, and challenges: Original characters only, no copyrighted characters, no characters based on copyrighted characters, no characters based on RPG’s or other games. The characters must be your own design and not based on any character that might be copyrighted in any way. I have the right to delete any post that I believe crosses this line without warning. Only post characters that have been created solely using Hero Machine, and that you know for certain have never been entered in a contest before. If you aren’t certain, don’t enter it, because I’m not going to go back through all of the contests and check.
All entries must be in JPG or PNG form (BMPs are too big), posted to a publicly accessible website (like the HeroMachine :,ImageShack, PhotoBucket, or whatever);
- Entries must be made as a comment or comments to this post, containing a link directly to the image and the character name;
- Please name your filesas [your name]-[character name].[file extension] before you upload it. So DiCicatriz, for instance, would save his “Bayou Belle” character image as DiCicatriz-BayouBelle.png.
Please make the link go directly to the image (like this) and not to a hosting jump page (like this).
This contest will close on Sunday, January 22nd at 9:00am Eastern.
Even people need brooms in THE FUTURE!
Challenge: Translate all the labels and you’ll win a Future Broom picture with customised
This is neither a hero nor a villain as outlined in the challenge, so I am at a bit of a loss as to what the intention of your post might be.
Here’s my submission. There’s a lot going on on this character so just so you know where to look: “tops-male tech” is masked in the upper thighs, “item right-polearms” is at the shoulders, and “hair-standard” is being used as the cape.
This is a villain that is only known as The Nameless. Nobody knows who he is, where he comes from, or how old he is. All that is known about him is that he is one of the most feared beings in the universe. He travels from planet to planet that holds sentient life and steals the souls of the planet’s children, and then uses a single strand of hair from the final child on each planet and adds it to his cape. The souls that that he steals add to his lifespan and nearly omnipotent power. Usually after he consumes his souls he will leave the planet, but in some cases the inhabitants try to fight back in which case he destroys the whole planet. It is currently unknown what specifically is strong enough to defeat him, however it is assumed that a child with enough power could defeat him once and for all and bring the souls he stole to peace.
Flip… I should read contest descriptions more.
my hero is my friend’s gnome D&D character, Gunsmith and Mecha lover, Erazmus Highhill.
A heavy assault Mech suit used to defend the last human stronghold in a world overrun by malevolent aliens.
A robot with experimental shading dictated by my brother.
Getting ready for take off.
‘RoboSwami’ is a fakir, not a faker. It appeared one day over a war-torn city in the Middle East. No gunfire or explosions outside of the workings of an internal combustion engine have been possible since. Scientists have, by analyzing the data available, determined that it is made of reforged shrapnel. Local metallurgist and inventor, Muhammed Rahs-Sabine, has declared that it hovers by no known energy signature, and that it has saved the city. http://i1067.photobucket.com/albums/u438/jamais5/2017hm/HerrD-RoboSwami_zpsyjxxl2hr.png

Here is another one…
He has the same abilities as Spider-man but enhanced with cybernetics. He has super human strength, and night, and infra red vision. He also has nanotechnology, which allows him advanced healing and instant repair of his cybernetics and allows him to shoot out ultra strong carbon fiber braided thread.
Joe Fareville was never supposed to be a villain. He had a normal life: wife, kids, dog, a house in the suburbs and a good job. All his life had been normal too; middle-class upbringing, football scholarship that hadn’t panned out but Joe had been okay with that and went into economics instead. He’d been with his job at a multinational company for many years, when he came into work one day to find the doors locked and federal agents everywhere. The Board of Directors had left, taking everything with them. Despite his experience, Joe couldn’t find another job and soon began to lose everything. He turned bitter, and it led to an acrimonious divorce. Having nothing to lose, he and a number of other ex-employees pooled their resources and bought a derelict ship, making their way to their bosses’ last-known island location. Except the Board were members of a secret cabal, using their money to fund experiments and global destabilization. No one knows what happened, but a year later the governments of the world received an ominous message from Joe Fareville, now called Admiral Death. The cabal was his, he rasped through a black mask, and the governments that had allowed this to happen would pay. All of them would pay.

My second and final submission for this contest: The Children.
Continuing in my story of The Nameless, in one distant planet two young children dream every night about a peaceful universe where The Nameless has been slain by two mysterious heroic soldiers of pure innocence. On the night when The Nameless approaches their planet, the two children yet again dream of their Nameless-less utopia, blissfully unaware of the impending horrors that are about to come upon their planet. As they dream adult-sized armor materializes around them, complete with a translucent pod where the children can continue sleeping uninterrupted. As The Nameless draws nearer and nearer to their planet, The Children prepare for a final climactic battle to finally slay The Nameless and bring peace to a frightened universe.
