Weekend Open Critique Day #H22

It's weekend again and time for another OCD. Not much more to say today, I'm thinking I need to come up with something to say for the Open Critique Days, but right now I have nothing. (Trust me it is very rare for me to have nothing to say. LOL)

My new rules for posts, contests, and challenges that I am hosting: Original characters only, no copyrighted characters, no characters based on copyrighted characters, no characters based on RPG’s or other games. The characters must be your own design and not based on any character that might be copyrighted in any way. I have the right to delete any post that I believe crosses this line with “no” warnings.

    Ander the hedge wizard
With, obviously, powers over stone and earth, as well as a magical hammer

(Posted it a few hours ago in the old OC thread, sorry)

  2. @Arioch: “image introuvable”

@Pathwalker: Overall great design. A few things “stick out.” Her left shoulder is rather bulbous and large, not proportioned to the rest of her body. Her sword hand is angled slightly off the hilt. Her thumb sticks out. I think masking should take care of that. Finally, she is busting out from her bustier. Might want to ask to her inhale a little.

This is AquaWave, one of the lasts of his kind. He is an atlantian merman and a battle sorcerer. Hope you like it! 😀

Dumb thing, it worked… Trying again 🙂

Ah, ok, I see why it didn’t work, chrome scrambled the link, it was

(it replaced the 3 – by one single bar)

@Pathwalker: Great design, nothing to add to what Atomik Punk said, though

@Toxic: It doesn’t feel like he’s underwater. I’m far from being a pro, so take it with a handful of salt, but maybe adding an overall blue transparent layer, plus making the bubbles clearly blue would help.
Maybe add some plants and fishes, too. You gotta break the divide between the soil and the waer above.
    Cool armor, I like it

  5. Herr D says:

@Arioch–I want to see him interact with elements from a background. Great start tho.
@Toxic–Arioch is right about the waterless feel. Maybe scattering the debris a bit more would help, too. Excellent tail.
