Color my Character Challenge #1 Winner

After a lot of going back and forth over the characters, Isia and I have decided on a winner for this week.

Headlessgeneral is the winner. Great job.

It was very hard to pick just one because all of them were great. This challenge will be a part of the blog from here on. I am sorry to say that at this time I can not offer a prize to challenge winners.

Maybe I’m gonna say something stupid, but a possible “prize” could be to have the winner choose the next picture to be colorized from his or her HM gallery.
I know that I, for one, would like to see what people can do with some of my designs πŸ˜€

  2. Congrats, headlessgeneral. Have to say I really like the “Color My Character Challenge.” My designs tend to be flat because I’m lousy at zypping. I really admire the works done by people who can zyp and pop!

    Thanks Atomic Punk!

I like Arioch’s idea of having the winner provide the next character to colored(if they choose to).

I set up the thread in the forums to get people to post characters for me to us. The problem with the winner picking the next one is that I don’t pick a winner until the night before I post the winner and the next challenge. I set it up to post that next day because I don’t always know what I am going to be doing the day of and not everyone can give me a speedy response with a character that is ready to go right then. I am working on ideas for prizes. Everyone is more then welcome to come to the forums and post a character that they would like to see in the challenge.

    HK,
Maybe I misunderstand the problem, but if there’s any kind of a reserve of ready-to-go uncolored characters, it seems like the prize could still be to contribute the character to be colored, say, two weeks down the road without much worry as to how soon the prize recipient can meet the deadline.

That is something to think about.
