I call it ‘The Reality TV Gun!’
I recall the words, “low-grade moron” being used in “Forbidden Planet,” as well: it must have been a common expression once.
Back in the 40s before the PC police took over everything and hurting someone’s feelings became the worst crime imaginable there was an IQ system put out by the medical community that went something a little like this.

70-80 Borderline deficiency
50-69 Moron
20-49 Imbecile
below 20 Idiot
