I've just created a new forum on the UGO HeroMachine boards for the sharing of custom HM3 items along the lines of what Martian Blue proposed the other day. I've broken it down into several sub-folders so hopefully those searching for specific items will have an easier time finding them. If you have suggestions for different categories, by all means speak up. Currently they are:
- Male Clothing
- Female Clothing
- Backgrounds
- Companions / Complete Characters
- Headgear
- Weapons
- Miscellaneous Items
Currently they're all empty, so you've got a chance to be the first one to add anything to each of them!
Yes. With the addition of XML, recipes should be flooding the board! Not to mention it’s so easy to create consistent work.
Viele gleibliche!
And shame on me, I honestly don’t have the creative know-how to contribute on par with HammerKnight, MartianBlue, MMI, and others. I’ll come up with something.
when I have some time I’ll redo the female wall-crawler pose and add it to the this new forum for use. Might not be until next week however as I am having a busy time at work this week.
This is going to be a great addition, especially for things like backgrounds that don’t need to be rescaled. I’ll make sure to dig through the save files and extract any goodies.
How about,
Insignia category?
I second the insignia and suggest a pose section
OK, done — Insignia and Pose threads now started. I unstickied all but the “Welcome” post, I’m not sure exactly how to work out all this stuff.
@Jeff: I just got through reading the last two weeks of the blog. Totally awesome this text thing, and creating the forum section so everyone can pitch in will elevate HM3 from amazing power tool to universally acclaimed nerdvanic and fantastic tool. I bow to your awesomeness, sir.
would it be to much to ask if you could make the heromachine program load a custom weapon as a whole instead of separate pieces?
Is there anyway way of getting custom made items into heromachine that can be selected as a whole or individually, select the piece you want and add them to a folder or sub folder like you would in photoshop? If you get what i mean.
