Olympian Games – Target Shooting

The ability to blow up stuff at a distance is key for most super-powered comics characters, and the mighty beings in charge of the multi-dimensional Olympian Games would surely not leave the testing of such a skill off the event roster. And so we now ask you to consider the following (vote for three):

I don't want to prejudice the voting, but you by all means should do so in the comments. Make the case for your choices and bend the will of other readers to your own! Feel the POWER of the dark side!

Okay, now there is a crime here. No Clint Barton? Really???

  2. Danny Beaty says:

I was never crazy about the Olympics, or sports in general. I’m glad the Olympic games have FINALLY come to an end.

  3. kingmonkey says:

The Saint of Killers is the clear winner… as long as the targets are living.

  4. Legatus says:

Ussop (Shueisha) from One Piece fame! Give that guy some respect. Sure, he’s a liar, a coward, a loudmouth, but, oh boy, he sure can shoot. Especially in his alter ego Sogeking from Sniper Island.
Go and read some manga. Cheers.

  5. Kalkin says:

Why isn’t that guy from Wanted (the comic, not the movie) included? Shooting people located in another state is pretty accurate firing.

  6. Hammerknight says:

Everyone had a chance to nominate people to be in the events. I went with who people said they would like to see.

  7. William A. Peterson says:

Kalkin, I agree, the guy from WANTED would blow all of these guys away!
Deadshot is obvious, and even if Clint were on the list, I think Ollie (Green Arrow) would beat him out…
Bullseye makes the token Marvel qualifier.

  8. Gero says:

I went with Deadshot, Bullseye, and Sniper. Deadshot and Bullseye are both amazing shots from years of training/killing random people, and sniper is a psychic who can shoot something in the complete opposite direction as someone and still hit them. So…yeah, they’d win in the real thing in my opinion…

  9. Jeff Hebert says:

*I* wonder how many of the contestants would try to increase their chances of winning by shooting one or more of the other entrants.

  10. No Jonah Hex? Green Arrow, hello?!? Deadshot and Deadpool would have to have a “snipe-off”.

Or Fumbles (aka, Killshot; aka, Dr. Killshot; aka, Trouser Snake) from “Robot Chicken”?

  11. TopHat says:

Well, I voted for Bullseye for 2 reasons:

    1. He’s only ever missed like three times, and those were for plot purposes

    2. I nominated the guy!

  12. gero says:

@TopHat: I nominated Sniper. As for missing, he never did. The hero was saved from him by someone else sneaking up behind him and stabbing him with a sword, which is a great way to break someone’s concentration…

  13. Will says:

Bullseye…manga is too different for comparison purposes imo like apples and oranges..this poll should stick to western comics..

  14. Hammerknight says:

@Will, I had an open suggestion post for everyone to have a say on the contestants. I did not think it would of be fair for me to tell people that manga comics were not allowed. I feel that Hero Machine, Comic art, and Comics are for everyone and everyone has their own likes and dis-likes.
