    *blinks* “The Green Lama?”… O.o

  2. Jose Inoa says:

Yeah, I made fun of that on the last “Random Panel:” JH put up.

EnderX told me that he’s a type of Tibetan priest.

I’m already working on “the Green LLAMA” on HeroMachine. That shiz is funny, yo.

  3. Jose Inoa says:

    EvilSuit: “…I’m sorry to say!”

GreenLama: “The Green Lama doesn’t apologize for spanking bad monkeys!”

(ooh, crap! I gave myself an ulcer with that one!)

  4. Runt82 says:

I feel this would make a good caption contest, but I know how Jeff feels about having two speech bubbles in one panel. Maybe he could get rid of one for the contest?

  5. Jeff Hebert says:

I try not to edit the panels in any way except for removing the actual words. Taking out an entire balloon would probably be too much.

  6. John says:

I want a Green Lama action figure.

  7. Danny Beaty says:

    Who won the caption contest?

  8. John says:

Apparently, he’s a practicing Buddhist. Who knew Buddhists had such a wicked left hook?

“Ommm. Ommm. Ommm. O…oh screw it. Taste my knuckle sandwich!”

  9. Bael says:

My compliments to the gentleman in the suit. If someone hit me hard enough to put me in a pose like that, I doubt that I would be nearly as articulate, let alone able to make a joke.

  10. John says:

Ha! Ask and ye shall receive! Get yer Green Lama schwag here:

  11. William A. Peterson says:

You do know that Alex Ross and Dynamite Comics has revived The Green Llama, and his “Universe”, in the “Project:Superpower” titles, don’t you?
    {Hint: While Mr. Ross is a very good artist, he’s not exactly a great writer…}

  12. Jeff Hebert says:

I did not know that, Willy, thanks!

  13. HalLoweEn JacK says:

Here’s an idea for a new competition!

Delete the image and leave in the speech bubbles, requiring people to draw an image appropriate to the out-of-context phrases.

This image would inspire an image labelled ‘things you hear in an alleyway in Amsterdam’.

  14. John says:

The Green Lama seeks to make himself One With The Universe by treating the criminal underworld to the business end of his patented “Happy Buddha” haymaker.

The Green Llama, on the other hand, just spits on your head. Surprisingly, it’s rather effective in its deterrence of further evil-doing.
