That or “Master, the beings from that backwater world in the Sol system seem to be participating in a celebration of some sort. They exchange brightly colored boxes and envelopes, but we are the lucky ones– our families gather together to grovel to you all year ’round.” Then, of course, because they personally addressed Darkseid, he zaps them with Omega Beams.
