With many thanks for your suggestions, I've added a "Face" slot to the Horror Mini. I also added a "Randomize All" button because, come on, random zombies = fun.
I cheated and just copied/pasted the Warrior faces into the app since I'm so short on time. I could probably do the same with the FacialHair one, but that'll complicate things a bit for the female version. Do-able though. The Warrior Hair items don't seem to fit all that well, but if you want it I can see what I can do. Ditto for the Backplane.
The Backpane is esential you have cape/cloak fronts in the shoulder section But no cloak/cape to go with them. When transfering the backpane over from the warrior Mini I’d replace the two jet packs with a couple of the Dragon/demon Wings from HM2.5 except for some possible resizing they should go well with the pose you have in the Mini’s
I thought about that, but I couldn’t figure out what all else should go in there. Those are good suggestions, thanks Kaldath.
Any other ideas for stuff to go in a Backplane?
I have probem with the Head section. The Dupe doesn’t stay on from one page or another, and sometimes when you put an item, click on dupe, click on another item on another page, the dupe is gone. You click dupe again, you go on the previous page and..it’s blank. What is going on?
Thanks Collex, I’ll take a look. Is it just the Head section or do they all do it?
I would like to see some hair and backpane. Right now I’m trying to make a good psychopathic redneck cannibal and its awesome! I love this app.
Well for extra items in the backpane section ,, you can keep the extra arms like you have in the Warrior mini, plus you can add ( if you have the time to draw them ) different styles of Tentacles
and a thought just came to me ,,, in the hands you should add in a hand with webbed fingers ,, you already have something like the drawn up in HM 2.5 in weapons section under limbs
The face parts that are in the head slot should probably be in the face slot. It would also be nice to have at least one normal nose and normal mouth. I made this yesterday before the update, so I might be able to do better now, and it would be a lot easier if you do add a female body.
Well here is my first experiment and creation with the HM Horror Mini. I persent to you the Un-named One.

Hair and beard are necessary too. To create vampires or mutants. Wings and tails also.
I would update my manticore based character with the horror mini. Few components interest me.
Under Tops, there is a skull breastplate with chains. One of the links in the lower left chain doesn’t fill in with colour.
Big spider legs in the backplane! Like Doc Ock style, or even natural, hairy legs, or both! Maybe one showing over each shoulder and one showing from each hip.
A couple suggestions not item related. If possible could you move the scroll down categories list. I say this because whenever I go from the scale or rotation dial, to the buttons/items/colors, it always opens whenever the mouse passes over it, which isn’t a big deal, but still something that could help.
Also if there is anyway to have more slots of categories. Because the way it is now I HAVE to have the dupe button on when I’m experimenting with items, which means everytime I click something and don’t like it I have to move it or clear it, which is just kind of annoying. But more slots means less of that.
Also I don’t know if it is just me but the jpg button doesn’t work, I found out after I made a kind of cool Aztec/Egyption demon warrior thingamabob.
Anyway I really like the art on a lot of this stuff. Anything not specifically the clients has to make it to HM3
Oh sorry forgot to say if there is a way to separate the items from the colors, I would like that, just because I get kind of confused sometimes with the tabs. It was just easier for me to figure out where I was in previous Hero Machines.
Obviously if everyone feels different I’ll shut up about this stuff
Yeah, I was bummed out about having to conflate the colors and items into the same section. It’s far from ideal, but they didn’t give me much choice — that giant honkin’ ad takes up a lot of real estate.
