Story: Hero’s Of Our Time
Info: Nightmare was a hero, a member of the Guild of justice and now a retired hero living his secret identities life. Early in his career as a hero Nightmare found out each member of the guilds identity. The world he now lives in is run by the military and a corrupt government, not what any hero wanted for the world. He only stays in contact with the Black Hornet, who was another former member of the guild. Upon arriving at the scene he saw his friend dead and a bomb ticking. Bringing the body out he left for home as fast as he could. After returning home he saw his door was open and the house was the same as the hornets was. He was then attacked by assassins when he finally put his fears to rest. After dispatching the assassins he knew that this was no coincidence and that The Nightmare had to return, find out who wants him dead, how did they know his identity, and did they know the others identity?

Info: The Raven is the public hero of Wraith City, and known for his sense of justice. As a boy he always read dark poetry and stories by Poe and Lovecraft. His origin is strange as he doesn’t share why he became a hero with anyone who he doesn’t trust. He has not even told his partner Tech, who is perhaps more impressive of a hero than he is. He is known by villains to always say “Never More” when he catches or stops villains. As a result of his actions, though noble, often make other heroes have distaste for him, due to his attitude and impulsive behaviour when it comes to catching the bad guys. Despite this he is still a great hero that wants to make the world better for everyone not just those who are innocent.

Info: Xsamis is leading scientist and tactician of Lord Ragnok’s army. Ragnoks most trusted general, Xsamis is one of the few members to actually be able to stand up to the Lord and survive. Xsamis is dangerous on both the battlefield and in the lab, as a being that is both sadistic and curious. His reputation for being a sadomasochistic monster to his prisoners strikes fear into that of his opponents. Despite his size and lack of legs he is perhaps as dangerous as his master. One rumour of his talents, says that he once talked a war hero into torturing himself into a brutal end.

Powers: Genius scientific mind, metal hand with the ability to shoot electricity out of it, master manipulator
Info: Dr. Volten is a genius scientist that was on the verge of making perfect artificial limbs. He had degrees biology and physics and was known as one of the leading experts in the world of artificial limbs. He was on the verge of some controversial research when a freak explosion took his arm from him. Combining his research with his current predicament he found that he could make an arm fully capable of moving like a normal one. It only required some painful nerve attachment and some physical therapy before he could get back to work. But even with his new arm he was refused a job and turned to crime. Now one of the most dangerous minds in the criminal underworld he specialises in making criminals new weapons and supplying surgical help to anyone who has the money.

Info: Born in Galway in Ireland, to a butcher and a teacher, Fred’s life wasn’t very different from any other children in the estate he lived in. As he got older, he slowly came to realise he had talent in the game of rugby. When he got the chance to play for his school he became the star player. Despite being only 5, 11 ft he was the star of the team and won every trophy humanly possible. He was ever popular and intimidating due to his status as a rugby player. He didn’t really want to stay playing for the rest of his life, but wanted some sort of job where his talent would be put to use. He decided to join the Garda SÃochána, which was the police force of Ireland. As an officer he found that he had some sort of super powers when he was shot several times and didn’t feel it at all. He didn’t believe this at first till he saw the holes in his uniform. After discovering this he continued his day to day work, finding he also was faster than the usual man. He was approached by a man in and eye patch one day, and offered a job in a new secret governmental team. Accepting the offer he soon was given a huge iron suit that allowed his strength to become greater than any normal human being. He asked what his job would be in this team and with a smile the apparent leader said “You’re basically our battering Ram”. To which he replied “Then call me Ram”.

Info: Being the youngest member of the Order and having no offensive or defensive forms of magic, she is still considered a vital member by the Alchemist. She was born in Canada to a loving mother and farther, and had a normal childhood. She was born with her powers but they were not unlocked until the alchemist recruted her. Before she was recruited by the Alchemist she was experienceing headaches all the time and her parents began worrying about her. She was trying to become a vet at the time and her parents assumed that she had caught somthing off one of the animals. The only man she enjoys talking to freely is the Druid and that is because he seems to worry about her a lot. She see’s him as the big brother she never had, but sometimes has to take on the mother role of the group when fighting breaks out in the order.

Info: Rachel and Gracie Matins were the twin daughters of a wealthy family. At an early both girls showed signs of instability towards their emotions. Their abusive farther couldn’t care less about his daughters or their mental health. On the other hand their mother suggested that they send the girls to learn skills that could suppress their problems. The girls didn’t want to be separated so they did everything together even in cases where it would be against the rules to have a partner. The only difference between the girls was the books they read. Rachel read books on war and psychology, while Gracie read books on animals and science. To the friends of the family the twins were unsettling to meet in person, as there was a certain creepy relationship between them. One night they were told that their mother and father were getting a divorce and that they would be separated. That night their parents were mysteriously murdered. The maid and butler were instantly accused and as there was no evidence to support or convict them the case was shut. The twins were now on their own the way they liked it. The twins got worse and worse as time went on. One day Rachel would be ready to kill one of the servants and Gracie would be helping with the cleaning, the next day vice versa. Wanting to seek more risky activities they noticed that people would steal and kill for a living. They decided to combine their skills and mentalities together to become the Super villains Rage and Grace. They are the most unpredictable of villains, as they often change outfits and weapons to confuse their opponents. The heroes that they face have to be ready for either of the twin’s tactics, if they attack Rage expecting her usual tactics, they could in fact be attacking Grace. The Girls have their own weapons, Grace is armed with a kusarigama and Rage, a whip, as well as their own tactics. This makes them incredibly dangerous opponents to face in battle.

Info: Marauder is one of the few heroes in the world that prefers to keep his existence a secret. He is the only hero in the world to actually be in full contact with the Hero Tech. Much like Wraith cities Tech he keeps to himself and doesn’t share much with anyone. None knows the real reason behind their friendship or why the two refuse to be seen in public as often as others. His mysterious past and motives keep him on the border between hero and villain, as he does not show any affiliation towards either side. His motives are his own but he will at any time change his mind about his current allies and side with either the opposition or go alone. The only time he keeps his word is when it is towards his friend Tech. Adaptable to any surroundings he is a myth to villains, a ghost to heroes and a legend to people.

Powers: Expert strategist, great scientific mind, belt buckle allows him to multiply his own being to create doubles (Each copy drains some of his power and as a result he gets weaker and so does his clones), a wide range of weaponry he manufactured, goggles attached to his mask that allows him to see in the dark and detect thermal readings.

Info: One of the first heroes to be shown in the limelight and perhaps one of the most intelligent men of the Guild, Robert Kinlsey fought for justice under the alter ego The Black Hornet. Working as a weapon manufacturer for a company, his ideas were usually shot down due to their impractical use. His weapons were more about using as little power as possible to cause the most damage. This could be seen in his shock baton. It was a simple baton with the added affect to knock out, or electrocute anyone who was hit by it. Kinsley decided he would put more work into his multiplying device than the baton for a short time. Brining his work home one night, he encountered a group of muggers who tried to take his multiplier. He activated it by mistake and soon there were over ten copies of him. He found that he was weaker than before but not so weak that he couldn’t take on the muggers. Wishing to perfect it, but not wanting to let muggers like the men who attacked him continue on in the city unpunished, he decided he would become a super hero in order to protect the innocent with his rejected weapon ideas. He just needed a name. Watching the discovery channel one night he saw that hornets attack in packs when the hive is destroyed. Likening the sound of that, he decided he would call himself the Black Hornet, only because he thought the Yellow Hornet didn’t sound intimidating.

Info: Merlin Abrosius is known only through legend and myth as the greatest magician of all time. His past is kept in secret even to those he trusts. How he has survived for eons is unknown. To keep his power under control he deposited much of his great power into an amulet which he left in the mortal realm, so it could one day find a suitable apprentice for him. After King Arthur’s death he formed the Order of magic with several other magic users. Their goal was to seek out the most powerful of magical items in the world and keep them from landing in the wrong hands. Before his disappearance from the realm and his ascension into myth the Order found an item called the Infinity Sphere. The sphere was the most dangerous item to have ever been created and posed a threat to the entire world. The sphere’s faith is unknown even to Merlin and this haunts him. Having no patience for weaklings or idiots, he is quick to anger or annoy and as a result is a stern master to apprentice for.

Tom Dalton was an electric company lineman who, because of an on-the-job accident, was exposed to 10000 D.C. volts of electricity. When his colleague tried to revive Tom with a Defibrillator, the voltage from the paddles acted as a reverse current. By some miracle it worked, not only had it brought him back from the dead but it had granted Tom super powers. He decided to use these powers to become the costumed crime fighter called Magno.
His abilities include repelling and attracting things with his hands and generating electricity through his hands. However, Magno must keep his energy levels up by occasionally recharging his energies through exposing himself to an electrical current.

While Dudley is afraid of what Mr. Satan can accomplish and the fact that Dudley is put at risk, he can see the noble side in what Mr. Satan is doing. Dudley spends his days keeping up his appearance as a millionaire playboy and trying to figure out how Mr. Satan came to be.

Rueben James was a young orphan who ran away from the orphanage where he lived for most of his life. He hid out in an old graveyard, but discovered it was the home of powerful spirits, including some of his ancestor’s. The ghosts feeling Rueben’s Pain and sensing something strong within him they decided to share their powers with him. The spirits gave him powers each of them had while in the mortal realm. All he had to do to unlock the powers was shout hey Rube and he would transform in Red Rube.
