I've just added the following crystalline body to Body-Male-Alternate. Female version pending. Enjoy!

The Secret Lair
Awesome! This is a great addition.
Thanks! I know I should chop it up into arms and legs and torso but man I hate doing that.
I’m afraid the Machinists will demand it. This is too useful of a piece. An asset that will launch a thousand concepts. 🙂
You shouldn’t really have to, it’s easy to just mask it to the already separated body parts already in heromachine.
That is awesome! A great surprise Jeff, thanks.
very neat!
I demand you chop it up into arms and legs and torso! 😛
Seriously though, this is very cool. And as JR said, masking it is easy enough
Crackin’ good, man! I wouldn’t want it chopped up–I’d want the pattern separated out so I could mask it to other positions, anatomies, backgrounds . . . .
That’s an interesting point, actually — are there other Patterns you would want that aren’t in there? They’d go in the Patterns-Standard set, not the grayscale ones built into the app.
What about a body shading? When you choose a body you get colour 1 and 2. If we could get JUST colour 1 without the body that could be adapted and masked to other items that dont have the kind of shading because of their other colour properties it would help making other items match ones that already have it.
How about a wood Pattern? Reptilian scales? You have some good one on HM 2.5 that you could bring over.
Speaking about chopping, will we ever get a chopped version of the skinny body?

Could you plan a crystalline head to match ?
No, impossible! Weeeelll … ok, done.
Doubtful. The problem is that the set in question is already over 100 items and that’s the stage where adding more gets hard due to the way the Flash author environment is working (at least for me). I can’t place the preview items any more, I have to start them way over to the left and manually nudge them over (the mouse doesn’t work past a certain point). It’s a pain.
If I took it upon myself to break it apart, would that be okay? I experienced the weird preview non-responsiveness when I added eyes as well. I ended up selecting everything and then setting the X position to -900 or so. I then added the preview lineart and then selected everything again and set the X back to 0. It’s a pain but I’ll do it if that means completing the sets.
If you want to take the trouble, go for it! That’d be great, I really hate doing the break-it-apart stuff.
Should I do the crystal body as well? Or did you already start that?
Go for it! I did not start it yet, no.
I’m on it. I’ll see if I can carve out some time to do this in the next week or two.
I was thinking of doing a body painted like the guy in somebody that i used to know by gotye…You guys beat me to the punch!
THANK all that’s holy I don’t have to now!
Wait a minute, I just looked at the BodyMaleAlternate set and the skinny body IS broken out into pieces there already. Am I missing something? Are you talking about a different skinny body?
I think they’re talking about the emaciated body on the last page.
Ah, that makes sense. Thanks JR!
Exactly, I meant that one. Sorry for the lack of clarification…
