This weeks "Bad Super Costume" continues the trend of the previous two weeks and present to you Shaquille O'Neal as Steel!
Do I really need to explain the reason for my choice this week ? This does not look like it is a powerful suit of power armor created to pay homage to Superman after his Death. No, this looks like a Bad Halloween costume cobbled together from whatever was laying around in the costume designers garage!
O_O where does this come from???
I think that’s how he made the costume in the movie
Shaq tried to get into the acting game in the late 90s. He was terrible at it, of course
This image is so bad it renders me speechless. I think I can make a better costume in my basement with an old boiler and coke cans. I saw 10 min. of this crap of a movie and this costume is better than O’Neill’s acting.
though the pest part of this inpenitrable rubber suit of armour, is the open face portion for muggers to shoot Shaq in the face
that’s not exactly hard to do Jay
Forget using stuff from the designers bin, it looks like he just used the bin.
…I said the second part first and the first part second
It is from the 1997 Movie “Steel” http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0120207/plotsummary?ref_=tt_ov_pl
Wow, I truly have nothing to SAY about this one! I WILL be LAUGHING though!
They couldve at least used thin sheet metal for the body armor and a cleverly painted copy of Shaq’s face for the helmet. Oh, and also Superman’s logo, the red cape, the sledgehammer and all the other gadjets that he’s supposed to have. OR they couldve made a Black Vulcan (Black Lightning) movie with him. Hahahahaaa!!! Shaq-Fu on the O.G. NES, yo.
He did have the hammer – he just doesn’t have it in that still
The movie also had a girl in a wheelchair that fired rockets
Yes, exactly! The costume is pretty bad, but the movie itself is worse.
I think the hammer’s the only thing they got right in the movie
Not to mention his derp face in that picture
Honestly, if we didn’t know this was from 1997 and not 2007, I’d honestly think it was from some no budget Asylum Entertainment Mockbuster of Ironman.
