Hammerknight has put together a nice set of recipe cards showing the settings you need to scale your HeroMachine 3 illustrations for various purposes. Thanks again, HK!

Thanks, HK. You knew this was a much needed tutorial. Especially by me.

Me, I just prefer to remember that my female character is 6’3″, and use my imagination. Might want to scale down her little doggie, though…..

    at Nick:

6’3??? Tall chick fetish? Unless you’re talking about She-Hulk. In which case, I’ll give you that one. Jk.

  4. Jake says:

Looks good. Any chance we can get a sequel to this for dwarves and halflings?

  5. Nick Hentschel says:

    @CPrime:
She’s half-orc, so I’m afraid she’s not that cute. So, no fetish. She’s a cool character, though.

  6. Hammerknight says:

@Nick For a 6’3″ female the male scale should get you close.
@Jake I have been bouncing that idea around. So I should have a post for it in the future.

It’s all right; she seems to be in the ballpark already. I guess there’s something to be said for intuition? 🙂
Besides, the drawing’s basically done already; there’s no room to change anything. Thanks, though.

  8. Hey jeff I like heromachine alot but I have one suggestion (I want to post it before I forget) but could you maybe put in a thing that’d let us up load photos to use in heromachine? Like if we wanted to put on a custom logo we had worked on in photoshop or something….anyway you could do that? It’d be awesome!
    😀
Also HammerKnight, I love you tips man!

  9. I love how you make it sound like science…true dedication!
    :p
Hope to see more of these….though might I suggest doing one about “poses”? I cannot seem to get them right and I noticed a lack of submissions featuring them. Anychance you might do one in the future? If so, thanks!

@Nicholas, I have done done a few Recipes on poses, it has been awhile since I have done them.
