I've just posted 30 new items into the "ItemRight-Miscellaneous" set, bringing the total to 84. Here's a quick peek at most of them:

Not shown are a spray paint can, a Bible, a nasty-looking grimoire, a blank furled flag, a blank open flag, and a round bomb with fuse.
Hope you like 'em! If there's something egregious you see wrong or missing, let me know.
Two fairly large non-HM3 projects have come up with UGO, so it may be two weeks or so before I work on new items. I have someone else working on them in the meantime, though, and if he wants I may post a thread for requests.
id love to see a gas can the old style ones you find on jeeps in ww2. all so id like to see the chainsaw in two parts .
Nice collection of items.
I’ll certainly have fun with them 🙂
But I must admit that the lack of a videogame controller disappoints me a little.
Woohoo! Thanks!
Given that there was already a TV remote and two different PDAs I didn’t think a video game controller merited a slot.
Great job, everything looks good.
I’ve posted in the suggestion thread a reference for a chinese fan. It’s a cool item with ton of usage. It’s a real missing.
Thanks Jeff! The blank, open flag will go just great with masking.
Thanks for the update Jeff; looks great. Especially thanks for including the gladiator net.
Darn. No rubber chicken, no seltzer bottle.
On video game controllers: You justified using slots for two very similar cell phones but are arguing that adding an object that neither looks nor functions anything like a cell phone would be redundant?
Patterns on the handcuffs are messed up. There is a pattern there where it shouldn’t be. Same with the gladiator net.
Need to work on the cuffs, see if I can get that pattern knocked out.
Bogatyr, it just wasn’t an interesting item to add in my opinion. The cell phones aren’t that similar, one’s an iPhone and one’s a Blackberry. Two very different constituencies use those.
If I do a PS3 controller do I need a Nintendo Wii one? And an XBox one? And an old-school Nintendo one? It just doesn’t seem like a terribly high-priority kind of thing. How many characters are going to be wandering around with a video game controller? I can see the two big phones for making regular business people or crime lords or whatnot, but … video games? Seriously?
Danny, I thought about the rubber chicken but it too was one of those items that seemed to have very few applications. Plus it seemed like it would droop from the neck where it was held, which would limit the rotation you could do to it.
A seltzer bottle was better, but I just kind of ran out of room and the other stuff seemed more urgent.
Having said that, I am reserving about ten spots for new stuff for contest winners and later additions and whatnot. I had about thirty spaces I could fill, so I went with the ones that a) were interesting to draw, b) seemed to have fairly broad appeal in terms of ways to use them for different characters, and c) would work well with the various Transformation options (rotating, scaling, etc).
Bottom line, though, which ones seem like a good idea and which don’t is a pretty subjective thing, and it’s more than possible that my opinion is way off. So if there’s a widespread clamor for a certain item I’m open to changing my mind. I just had to make the calls at the time I was doing the drawing, you know?
Also, contest prizes! A lot of people haven’t ever claimed theirs, so I need to start thinking about ways to “auction” them off. I might just do a poll or something with a bunch of options, letting people add their own, and then I’d do the top x number of vote getters based on how many prizes are unclaimed.
Kudos on the new Misc. Items! I see many possibilities there 😀
I’m quite surprised that some people haven’t claimed their contest prizes. I’m thoroughly interested in that auction idea 😉
Looks great, Jeff. I know this is probably one of the crazier sets to draw for because we could think of hundreds more things that would be cool to include.
The only thing that I feel would be a great addition is a lighter or a zippo. That would be great for many, many characters.
I hope at some point we get dice and possibly some playing cards as Insignias at some point too.
Still, this is a great addition and I look forward to using these new items Jeff. Out of curiosity, what is happening at UGO? Or can you not talk about it?
Jake, it’s not a secret or anything, they’ve got another “mini” edition they want me to make for a client along the lines of a “Mech Warrior” type of idea.
I also have to convert all the other Minis to have new links for the Forums, the blog, etc. and to the larger size of the new UGO.com interface.
Jeff, clearly you’d only need to do an Atari 2600 game controller.
Oh, an fuzzy handcuffs!
I figured it was something like that. What’s the focus of this mini going to be?
Jake, as I said it’s a “Mech Warrior” type of thing. Big giant robot vehicles.
They are all really cool by the way. I have to say that the removed mask is probably my favourite.
Lovely!!!! Do you have the screwdriver?
