Void,

Very nice work. I especially like The Face. That is creepy and has that same vibe used by Batman. He's supposed to be a good guy but he uses fear and intimidation to achieve his goals while warring with his dark side to stay good. I like it! I know you went for the all black ensemble and it works. But what about introducing a few different textures to the clothes to keep the black but make the shirt look like silk? It might add some contrast without requiring a colour change.

I haven't uploaded anything in a while but you are welcome to checkout my work...

A few Old Ideas, a Few New Ideas

Name: Farah Al-Masur
Codename: Manara
Powers: Heat Manipulation
Bio: The daughter of Syrian immigrants, Farah was born after her family had already left their home country, though her family went back often on holidays to visit family still in Syria. It was on one such holiday in 2011 that the family got caught up in the start of the Syrian Civil War. Farah and her father managed to make it out, but her mother and brother were both killed, alongside her grandmother and one of her uncles. It was during this time that her powers awoke, which didn't help her mental state and she became more and more unstable, until she lost control. Fortunately, she was talked down by her father and some close friends. It took some time, but she has learnt to control her powers and is using them to help others and try to aid in improving the public image of Islam in the west. Of course, this did not go unnoticed and an invitation to join The Protectors was not far behind.
Random Extra Facts:
- Farah is a Muslim and follows the Sunni branch of Islam. She is also a lesbian. At first she tried to hide this fact from her family, though she did come out to her father after her mothers death. Much to her relief he was accepting of his daughters sexuality and he encouraged her not to hide it and to be a role model, not just to muslims, but to any lgbt youth from minority backgrounds.
- Farah is another member of the team who is a foodie and a good cook. Unlike Luis though, Farah is a vegan and her cooking reflects that. There is something of a friendly rivalry between the two when it comes to cooking and they are forever trying to outdo each other. Not that their team-mates mind too much, they're generally the judges and that just means amazing food for everyone.
- She studied politics at university and says she probably would have gone into politics if she hadn't become a superhero. She's always very knowledgable about current events and does get a bit annoyed if people don't take it as seriously as she does.
- You wouldn't think it, but Farah is a secret metal-head. She had a friend teach her how to play bass just so she could join a band in high-school for a battle of the bands contest. They didn't win, but she had so much fun. She's a bit rusty nowadays unfortunately.

- Farah loves tea. Like, to an insane degree. Some members of the team (not naming names, but it's definately Oscar) have even said that she's probably addicted. She had entire cupboards full of different varieties and drinks them depending on mood, what time it is of what day and what the weather is like. She'll drink it cold, hot, with or without milk (soya, obviously) or sugar. Black, white, green, oolong, jasmine, you name it, she drinks it.

Might be a file size error. How big is the file you're trying to upload?

EDIT: I would have uploaded a full body shot, but again, it didn’t want to load properly.

Is it coming up with some sort of error message when you try to upload it, or is it uploading and then not showing up when you publish? I’ve tried to find it in the forums media library, which is where it would go if it had uploaded but not registered properly, but I can’t see it.

Error messages.

Name: Oscar Campos
Codename: Magnetico
Powers: Magnetism Manipulation
Bio: Born in Brazil, Oscar's family emigrated when he was very young due to his fathers work, Oscar had to deal with a fair amount of rubbish growing up, whether it was his poor English in school, his accent or his immigrant background. However, during his teenage years, he developed into something of a heart-throb and his confidence was boosted even further by the discovery of his power to manipulate the magnetic field of metal objects. He was somewhat of a showoff and, unfortunately, a bully. He became a superhero just for the attention and, for a time, he was on top of the world. Then he got his ass handed to him by Man Mountain. There isn't any shame in such a defeat, even the strongest heroes struggle against the giant, but it sent Oscar into something of a slump. Fortunately, his family was there to get him back on his feet. Realising he'd not been taking his role as a superhero seriously, Oscar started to put in extra effort, learning new things about his powers and going out of his way to find new situations to test himself. Though he still hasn't had his rematch against Man Mountain, his new found dedication did catch the eye of The Titan, who recruited him to be part of the new Protectors team.
Random Extra Facts:
- Oscar is tri-lingual, being able to speak Portuguese (Brazilian-Portuguese), English and Spanish.
- He's the "social media star" of The Protectors, having more followers than even Superstar (not that she particularly uses social media much, but her old accounts still have a fair few followers). He's always updating his fans on what he's doing when not out being a superhero. Of course, some of his followers are watching him for reasons other than fandom, as he found out when his home got invaded by a load of hired thugs. It doesn't stop him posting though, but he is a bit more careful about giving away his location now.
- One of his lifes ambitions is to lift a cruise ship using his powers. For some reason, every cruise company has turned down his advances.
- Oscar is the youngest of 3 children. He has 2 sisters, the elder of whom is a nurse and the other is a primary school teacher.

- Despite the fact he has quite a lot of attention from his female fans, Oscar is still with his high school sweetheart and got engaged shortly after joining The Protectors. Of course, pictures of the proposal went straight on his social media, which was a bad move because it meant his fiancé had to then leave social media due to some scary fans.

The aura, if you're referring to the glow, is indeed a light effect and at the time I had just intended for it to be a golden glow, though I might make a green variant now that you've mentioned it. Just so it can fit in with the whole plague theme I wrote up for this character on another site. The tattoo behind it however, is a halo, which has its own lore attached to it, again on the other site.

Name: Thomas Hall
Codename: Dynamo
Powers: Electricity Absorption, Super Speed
Bio: Born with the ability to absorb electricity and covert it into superhuman speed, Thomas Hall originally wanted nothing to do with heroics. He didn’t even play sports at High School, partially because he didn’t want to be considered a cheat and mostly because he didn’t really care. He just wanted to make people laugh, not impress them with his powers. However, one day that all changed. After doing a try out gig at a local comedy club, Thomas and his boyfriend were taking a short cut home when they were the victims of a targeted hate crime. Their attackers used weapons. Thomas managed to get away, his boyfriend didn’t. That night, Thomas used his powers in anger for the first time, absorbing the electricity from all of the surrounding street lights and taking out the attackers in less time than it would take to blink. But he couldn’t bring himself to get revenge. Instead he handed the attackers over to the police and dedicated himself to using his powers to help others. This would eventually lead him to joining The Protectors upon the formation of the second incarnation of the team.
Random Extra Facts:
- Thomas' theoretical top speed cannot be calculated as it is risky to test how much electricity he can absorb before suffering any negative effects, but projections do put his max at around 700-800 mph or 300-350 metres per second, though these are (by nature) inaccurate and his top speed could be even more.
- Thomas actually approached The Titan about joining The Protectors, rather than the other way round. He found out about The Protectors reforming from Lucina Stamford, a former supervillain turned cafe owner/ info dealer, and decided to try his luck.
- He's a big gamer. He can often be found playing online whenever not on duty, alongside some of his team-mates, most often Luis Deacon (Catalyst), Michael Barnes (Watchman), Megan Harris (Copy Cat) and one of the teams tech supports Jamie Walters.
- He's terrified of spiders.

- He's massively into geek culture. When he was a teen he was really into LARPing and cosplaying at conventions, he knows how to sew and make costumes (which really helped when he decided to become a superhero) and he still meets up with a couple of friends every week to play DnD. They've tried to get him to introduce them to other members of the team, but that got shut down pretty quickly by The Titan.

Reply To: so where are the programs?

Ok, if that's what you want to do.

I have had problems with running heromachine on Firefox before (though it does seem to be working for me now) but it worked on Chrome and Edge. The only other thing I could do is check with Jeff (the guy who made the program) and see if there was anything he knew that could fix the problem.
