HeroMachine Character Portrait Creator

Hi! Nothing new to share, yet another redesign. I meant to do these for LGBT Pride Month, but you know, life happens. Anywho, here’s a redesigned group shot of Spectrum. I wanted to give the young ‘uns some kind of a uniform using the dress-shirt pieces, and do my best to give them a variety of shapes and sizes. Some characters also have different names/looks/origins/ethnicities because, hey why not? I’ll label it for the curious.

From left to right with their part of the extended LGBTQ acronym, gender identity and their powers:

Elle (lesbian, cisfemale) – Psychokinetic control of the four classical elements

Aperture (pansexual, cismale) – I decided instead of an extra dimensional super-being to try a regular person for this incarnation. Omar Hosseini can manipulate a strange form of energy for a variety of effects.

Safezone (ally, heterosexual, cisfemale) – forcefield generator

Stonewall (intersex, bisexual non-binary) – near invulnerability

Beacon (queer, twospirit) – photonic energy form

Superflow (bisexual, cisfemale) – can phase in and out of reality/physical existence

Alpha (transgender, gay transmale) – superhuman physical ability

Enigma (questioning, cismale) – power mimicry

Bear (gay, cismale) – ursine metamorph with healing factor

Vex (asexual, biromantic cisfemale) – telepath, projects incapacitating wave of psy-static

I can’t remember how to post stuff anymore 🙁

Rejoice humans! Drrrrrinkfluid is back! The dome is back in order, and more stuff will be appearing inside each sector. Yay!

Oh and the smoke is because there is no decent 3/4 turned bare foot with well defined toes, so I made his left leg all black and the only way I could easily justify it was to cover it with smoke. Come to think of it though I could have done some watery thing I guess.

Edit: Hydro! I like the name Hydro. It’s short, sweet and fits perfectly.

Anyway, Father Water (pun name inspired by “Mother Earth”, since he is, well, water-typed superhero, and he is male also) looks really good

shading and highlighting seems ok/good (+1)

smoke…? Why the smoke? Is that a suggestion that he likes to smoke a lot? (?!)

Overall: Great, no major flaws (no minor flaws also, or maybe i am blind and tired after work, who knows)

i like fanfiction of any sort, and characters from yours seems to be quite interesting and original. would be nice to see and read story behind other characters

as for any sort of criticism or observation… hmm… if it’s possible, try to use a little brighter shade of grey (or black, not sure how to say it). Ileana Vane helmet and other two guys chest clothes are so dark i have to watch really carefully to see details. On first view, these pieces llooks for me like black shape.

However, maybe only i see it like that (or maybe its something with my monitor), so you don’t have to do it, it’s only my personal, maybe wrong, suggestion

I’m not good at jugding the fashion (especialy woman fashion), but still i can see when someone makes unique and interesting clothes in HM (at least i think i can), and you are doing it really, really good!
