When Colby Ramos, owner of the Midnight Red theater, refused to sell his business to Pinnacle Industries, who planned to flatten the entire neighborhood, the building was set on fire, with Colby and his wife,Riley, still inside. Colby saved Riley’s life but lost his own in the process.

The corrupt local police refused to investigate, branding Colby’s death a “tragic accident”, former army ranger Riley decided to take matters into her own hands . Adopting the name Midnight Red in honor of Colby, Riley take revenge on everyone involved in her husbands death, unveiling a web of corruption in the process.

Travis-burg starport, 27:75 galactic time
_______
The mission was boring, the startport was eniterly in there control and the girl was gone.
The local police had surrounded the place and where trying to negotiate for the release of the hostages.
But that was dull, talk talk and more talk.
What Asteomeia wanted was a fight, not even a big one just a minor planetary war.
But that wasn’t in the offing, all she could hope for was afew police men.
To her that was nothing, she was War Golem dam it, she need war like other need air or food.

Travis-burg starport, Toxic cargo area 1, 27:95 galactic time
Isolde Von Kreisel, was in a rush, she had a cargo to get home back to the Rechhworlds.
It would be an unpleasant trip her ship full of cattle but the government paid her bills so it picked her cargos.

Notes: I’ve been looking forward to creating this guy for a while. My second speester character. While Velocity got her powers in an accident, this guy is a mutant and was born with his powers.

Profile

Alias: The Jade Tornado
Legal Name: Jiang Lin
Gender: Male
Age: 30
Ethnicity: Chinese
Occupation: Travel Agent/Administrator; Tour Guide; Former Chef; Superhero.
Height: 5′ 9″
Body Type: Stocky, Toned
Hair Colour: Black
Hair Type: Long, Straight
Eye Colour: Brown
Skin Colour: Pale tan
Species: Mutant

Powers and Abilities

Powers: Super speed, superhuman reflexes, enhanced durability/toughness.
Details/Limitations: Able to travel at incredible, blistering speeds; known to be capable of exceeding Mach 3 (2301.81mph) without breaking a sweat. His superhuman reflexes allow him to keep up mentally with his own physical speed, and grant a level of agility and acrobatic skill beyond normal humans – able to dodge even high velocity bullets with relative ease. As his body is adapted to the pressure of travelling at super speed, he has an unusually tough muscular and skeletal structure, allowing him to shrug off most physical blows that would seriously hurt, or even kill, a normal human.
Abilities/Skills: Communication, diplomacy, acrobatics, Kung fu, Escrima/stick fighting, first aid, cooking.
Costume: Heat resistant, waterproof bodysuit with mask, gloves, and boots; supportive wrist and calf wraps; belt and waist sash; steel-rimmed hat with reinforced frame; cape.
Weapons: Extendable baton/staff attached to belt, steel-rimmed hat can be thrown as a disc like weapon (though rarely used in this way).
Gadgets/Tech:
Physical Weaknesses: Not much defensive gear/armour, not especially strong when moving at regular speed.
Mental/Emotional Weaknesses: Vulnerable to psychic attack.

Personality and Relationships

Primary Traits: Noble, friendly, witty, honourable, charismatic, mysterious.
Likes: Cooking, travel, cinema, martial arts, plants, justice.
Dislikes: Criminals, factories, western food, corruption, sweatshops.
Habits/Quirks: A friendly, approachable, and popular individual with an excellent sense of humour, he spent most of his young adult life working as a chef and avoiding confrontation as much as possible to avoid revealing his powers. Eventually no longer able to stand by and do nothing as crime levels only increased, he created the Jade Tornado costume in secret over a number of years and began fighting crime. The popularity of his costumed persona skyrocketed overnight, which led to him moving to a bigger city and taking a day job at a travel agency with more ‘sociable’ hours. He still follows his passion for cooking in private, and fills up as much of his time with hobbies as possible. When in costume, he adopts a much more reserved, dignified, and enigmatic persona than in his civilian life.
Fears: Full scale war between superhumans and humanity, needles, enclosed spaces.
Family: Jiang Suyin (mother) Jiang Mei (sister).
Romantic Interests: Wei Shun (girlfriend)
Allies: International Freedom League
Affiliation: Indo-Asian Superhuman Assembly, Terran Defence Corps.

Rivals/Nemesis:

Enemies: Tau Magi, Church of the Fractured Dawn, The Shadowguard, The Lawless Earth Network.

Your outfits are always so well designed, especially regarding colour combinations common to the era.

I think the box coat redisign is a great success.

As a jazz man, I really appreciate the 40’s stuff. And I love the ‘noir’ theme, too.
