I’m finally done. Took my last test and I’m ready to start living as an adult, or at least I hope I am. That’s the main reason why I haven’t been around as much. But hopefully with the month or so of time before I move for the new job, I can create more.
Anyway, here is a contest entry in the form of the villainous Dr Nightmare.

Ages in his younger days when he was the vigilante known as “Brother’s Keeper”…

Awesome! Setting the bar high early…..
FYI – noticed you didn’t add your name to the file name you submitted on the main page.
Cheers!
My entry for the CDC this week…but I’m keeping him win or lose.
Doctor Dominion is my submission for Part of the CDC

Ages was made for Djuby’s CDC contest part
My D&D 5E character “Rook”

Solona the tattooed witch.
Solona is my Pathfinder witch character. She has a Raven familiar that is not pictured here simply because I don’t like the Heromachine birds. Design wise I highlighted her hair to separate it from the dark background. It also emphasizes the purple hue in the hair. Had fun trying to create her cauldron and the liquid in it. I was tossing around ideas of having her adding ingredients, but I thought having her summoning something from a finished brew looked cooler.
The final member of The Watchgard’s Delta Squad is Enochian.
Enochian is a friendly and likable young man, in sharp contrast to the gruff team leader, Steel Spectre. He is often the glue that holds the rest of the volatile team together and wouldn’t want to work anywhere else, despite often conflicting with the brash Surge who constantly refers to him as Pinocchio.
Enochian is also openly gay and often faces criticism from some of the people higher up in power at the Watchguard which is at its core still a military organisation but he has the complete support of the Watchguard’s commander and is working hard to change the outdated thinking processes of the critical elements both within the Watchguard itself and without.

Thanks for the detailed feedback. 🙂
I love it when I can just look through items and find things that work perfectly in a scene. That was the case with the rocks + water and remembering that there’s a lighthouse, and combining that one swoopy floor thing with the angled rock wall. I would have liked to use companions for random people walking by just to save time, but the only one with the right walking pose was a robot dude and that would not have been appropriate for this feudal seaside town. 😀 So instead I used that guy as a model and put together the elements for the same pose. I did give the guy a head, but it’s not super attractive and you’re right that cropping him keeps the focus more on her.
The shortsword not having a scabbard is actually a detail that ties into her backstory. When she washed up on the island, so did the corpses of some of her crewmates. The first mate (whom she had a crush on) still had his shortsword with him, so that became her weapon of choice and she kept it with her the entire time she was on the island. I guess if I thought harder about it the guy could have still had the scabbard too, but we can just say that by the time she was rescued the scabbard was long gone (and she somehow manages to get around without chopping her leg off 😀 ). This scene is some time after she has returned to civilization, so she may or may not have considered that it might be a good idea to buy a new scabbard. (But now that I’m thinking about it, if I ever play her I should probably remember to do that. 😀 )
