A new year, and yet some things never change. AMS being incapable of doing anything that could be described with words other than "sublime" or "jaw-dropping" is a good example of this. This week he has posted three brilliant pieces in his gallery, but I have to give the nod to this on because, in my opinion, it is one of the best he's ever done. The pose has such attitude, the costume is powerful and sexy whilst not being outlandish or unrealistic, and of course, being AMS, the shading is perfection. But my favourite part is her face. AMS is quite good at faces when he want to be (mainly when he doesn't do characters wearing masks or helmets or such things), and this one just combines everything in the picture into one expression, containing all of the power and attitude of the rest of the picture just in a look. Perfect.

Ok guys, for this weeks challenge I'm taking away your ability to use colour. Your entire picture must be done in greyscale. Think early 20th century photography and you get the idea. You can create anything you feel like, provided your picture has a background, and the only colour used is white, black or grey. Sounds simple enough right. Just make sure it's not flat or boring, which is the problem you're going to face working in greyscale.
As per usual, no limits on the number of entries and the contest will close at midnight Saturday (blog time). Please read the contest rules before entering, have fun and good luck.
Rules for posts, contests, and challenges that I am hosting: Original characters only, no copyrighted characters, no characters based on copyrighted characters, no characters based on RPG’s or other games. The characters must be your own design and not based on any character that might be copyrighted in any way. I have the right to delete any post that I believe crosses this line without warnings. I apologize that I haven't been posting anything lately and the way things are going may not be posting for a while to come. The fluctuating weather patterns in my area, wild temperature changes, rain etc has had me in a serious amount of pain. As I type right now I am laying in bed feeling as if someone has kicked me in my back! So while I will be posting the winners of the Hall Of Fame poll on monday I am not going to be doing any kind of schedule posting for a while. I may throw up a random Kaldath's Corner, or Anime Talk or what have you if I am having a good day but there may be some long stretches with nothing from me. Once again I am sorry to have to do this and I hope the weather decides to settle on what season it wants to be soon so I can return to normal !
