I come to you with a question. or well a request actually. You may remember on the old forums I created a few tribute pieces based on fellow members names? The urge struck me the other day and I reimagined one for Vengeance, well yesterday an idea struck me for you and Isia. As of yet I haven’t started on the actual image, but what I have done is created the basic layout and concept behind it, which brings me to my request. I would like to induct “The Official Order of The Hammer-Knight” into my universe. I’ll reveal the concept with the picture unveil. As a sneak peek here’s

    The Oath of The Hammer-Knight
In service to mortal king, the man is no more
As mother eclipse father, a secret she bore
Oh child of sun, child of moon, night ever looming, blind the eye to love, true form never assuming
As ivory turns to pearl and pearl to ivory doest a river of red wash away my lies
    Severed art my ties
A heart unwanting, a word unspoken, that which I was has flown, leaving me bare
Thus by witness of thine own blood, upon stone this oath I swear

I’ve rather enjoyed looking through your thread, been awhile since I got to really appreciate some of the talent around here, for lack of time on my part.

    Some Standouts
-Callie Cain overall design is simple yet fitting
-I like the way you’ve laid out Fusio’s suit, really like the seems to break the green and black
    -Harlequin’s tribute is very cool
-Martial’s strapped on chest armor is awesome, I may use that idea on a character later
-The incorporation of the S into Slaegan’s suit is really well done

Not a problem friend. the masking tool can be a great help.

I like the last one, he strikes me as a big jolly man, a friendly giant as it were, but one that would own your hide if you got cross.

tip try masking the weapons to the hand, it makes them look as if they’re actually being held; simply layer the weapon over the hand, with the weapon active click the mask icon (literally a mask) under the transform tab, changing the cursor into a mask then click on the hand.

Go into the program and choose a shirt, next place a circle on top of that, with the shirt choosen grab the masking tool and click on the circle. This should leave the circle as a whole, now move the cirlce to the bottom layer, and the shirt should now be cut where the design just exists within the circle. That’s the basic of it, once you use it a little you’ll see it’s true potential.

The simplest thing it is used for is; lap a weapon on top of a hand, with the weapon selected click mask then click on the hand, the weapon should now look as if it is being held.

The best I can say is just play with it.

Ok, I’ve got an actual chart worked out but I’ll just post the estimated basics.

    Human 100lbs – 1,000lbs [basic humans]
Hero 500lbs – 75,000lbs [enhanced or powered beings]
    Divine 15,000lbs – 100,000lbs [greek, norse, gods]
    Cosmic 100lbs – 120,000lbs [aliens – cosmic entities]
    Empyreal 20,000lbs – 225,000lbs [dimensional, demons & angels]

These classes cover large ranges of characters within my universe; humans are humans. Hero can be someone altered or enhanced, a demi-god, a mutant, or many other types. A divine is a higher race and not truly defined as a God though they are often worshipped and interpreted as such. A cosmic is any universal unknown, from martians to entities capable of handling a divine skyfather. Empyreal is beings from a higher plain usually just accepted as another plain in general, ranging from djinn to demons to angels.

In terms of comics the higher levels are among the lowest in publish, but this would drive more alliances in order to face the larger disasters without having to keep introducing beings that one-up each other to the point of, as stated before, ridiculousness. Do you think this is a good range or too low? Heroes like superman wouldn’t be able to carry a whole shuttle into space, but they would be able to surve as a bad booster, which seems more like an alliance garnering pride on both sides, than “I can do it for you.”

I understand wanting multi-tier leveled characters, In fact I find them vital, but I also think that instead of powering a single hero to the point of breaking have them forge alliances in order to take down this villain. That’s not to say every now and then you can’t have a temporary increase in power by some means in a single hero elevating him to such a tier, but ordinarily I say forge alliances.

I’m thinking Peak Human is probably around 1000lbs comic wise, I think DC is something like 800lbs and marvel has Cap around the same, but these are military press lifts I think. An athlete would be about a little over half so about 600lbs I would think, I could see a strong super like powerman lifting a car or truck 2000 -7000lbs roughly, a colossus type an 18 wheeler truck about 21,000lbs, and a hulk like character could possibly lift a light to medium weight tank say 60,000lbs, but should they be able to lift 100,000lbs tanks and ships or aircraft?

    edit*
Even with a hulk powerful enough to take out a mid sized tank, so can a non-powered human, with the right tools and so even though the deck is enormously stacked in the hulk’s favor and the task seems near impossible, there still exists that shred of hope to cling on to. Now a cosmic being with the ability to lift an aircraft carrier, a powerless masked vigilante doesn’t stand a chance, but team him with a tank throwing hulk, and a storm like character and their back in the running. Jumping ahead a bit even with an army of cosmics if a character can wipe out civilizations with but a thought, truthfully you can’t win, characters shouldn’t be this powerful unless in a universal non direct role.

Any time guys. I haven’t made them yet, but I’ve got a few more to work up still. 6’3″ (super)hero, 6’6″ wizard, 6’9″ warrior, 7’0″ brute (not sure on this one? may just resize the basic brute body, if so no reason for upload.) I’ll try to add a dwarf body, and over time I’m going to try and work up some fantasy creature bodies.

If anyone has any they’d like to share the threads open.

    I like it headless.

Ok, the original ideal to create a universe still stands, but it’s on the back burner for now. I’ve updated the OP into more of an open resources kind of thing, in which you post something and anyone can use it how they want, whether it’s a re imagining, a remake, whatever? Basically this will serve as a public domain for the community.

I would also have to say telekinesis, as CKnap stated with its’ potential the power allows for the mimicry of many abilities, though if I could only have one ability, it’d be flight. Being afraid of heights it’d take some time getting use to, I’d be one of those guys laying stiff as a board with my arms extended floating maybe 3 feet above the ground jerking back and forth while trying to keep balanced. The hidden beauties of this old world that could be revealed with such an ability, the sheer joy of flight in itself, not to mention how funny it would be to mess with people. I think flight would just be very peaceful.
