'GTA V' Server Issues Persist, Rockstar Games Working On Fixes Alongside Online Heists This weekend, some users had difficulty connecting to the online servers of Grand Theft Auto V's newly launched Xbox One or PlayStation 4 versions. Rockstar Games released a new title patch for GTA V on Saturday. But, many gamers continue to report to Rockstar Support that they are still having trouble connecting to their online servers. Even with the continued problems, Rockstar Games has decided to leave all editions of GTA Online listed as operational on the game's server status page at this time. Game boat The bug is not affecting all GTA V players. The developer did however acknowledge that there is still a problem, and tweeted that they are working to solve the problem as soon as possible. Gaming Rockstar Games is redirecting players to a troubleshooting manual that was published by the developer last Tuesday in conjunction with the launch of GTA V for the Xbox One or PS4. Users should ensure that both their NAT type and GTA Online are set to open to ensure they can connect to GTA Online. Playing with either a moderate or strict NAT type can cause issues when connecting to GTA V's online servers. Users can access the network settings on either platform to check their current NAT setting. If problems persist, the developer suggests that users connected to a home network reset their router. These temporary fixes are meant to be temporary, until Rockstar Games is able release another GTA V update. The developer is currently working to add online heist missions. The Inquisitr had earlier reported that GTA V would include cooperative heists. It will be the first content update after the game launches for the new generation consoles. Rockstar Games has yet to give a precise date for when this update will be available. It is unknown if GTA Online connectivity issues will cause delays in the launch of the co-op theft feature. Alternatively, if bug fixes are being worked on by a separate team, some members of that team may not be able to make progress towards the release. GAME
