The Acrobat prowls the skyline of her city, fighting her way through organised crime. Originally, she used her gifts to lead a life of crime. Her ability to climb walls without a grip and her years of athletics training made her the perfect thief. Over time, she accumulated new skills, and a pair of gauntlets that fire off retractable wires, allowing her to swing with ease, and are equipped with an electrical charge. However, as time went on and she was beginning to be pushed into jobs that went past stealing, into violence. At this point, it was not long before she bowed out, and used her experience in the underworld to fight against the people who made her what she is today.

The Freak was once a normal man. Smart, handsome, rich. All of that gone though. In a world of gods and monsters, he wanted to join them. He was intelligent, to an extent. Beaten out of the way by those who built world protecting A.I.’s, super-weapons, super serums. Super serums. That was it.

He created a composite formula, born of whatever remainders he could find of the Zenith serum on the black market, and a mixture of his own. The experiment was successful, though, the great strength and speed the doctor was granted took it’s toll. Gone were his good looks and intelligence, so far gone to the extent he was a monster, a Freak.

Now, as a hired muscle, he has no recollection of his old life. The Freak lives for violence, and does so for whoever can employ him.

This premier Russian superhero is a larger than life example of what a superhero should be. Rocket-Man is known to be a warm and courageous individual, spending as much time making public appearances and speaking to ill children as he does pummelling super villains.  Alexei was born with the power to propel himself like a rocket at great speeds and release explosive concussive blasts upon impact. He and anyone he is carrying, as long as he wants them to be, are protected by a forcefield. He is also tremendously strong.

Camila was orphaned at a young age and was made to take on the responsibility of her younger brother and sister. The trio barely scraped by, living in the slums, making a living through stealing and small jobs. Eventually a chance meeting with a rich scientist led Camila to volunteer herself for medical experiments in exchange for a place to stay for her family.

A serum was injected into her and allowed her to develop amazing abilities. This ‘Zenith Serum’ granted her peak human speed, skills, reflexes, strength, senses and delayed aging. It also allowed her mind to work at great speeds, allowing her to learn and understand concepts greater than a normal person.

Her enhanced thinking abilities led her to grasp the situation at hand and understand that the experiments were not as innocent as they seemed and with her family as leverage she had resolved to leave the facility and ensure that the discovery was halted here. After escaping and destroying the serum and all learning involved she fled with her family, finding a place to stay with Beacon. Under their protection she seeks to end the schemes of the shady corporation that sought to create the Zenith Serum.

She went on to join The Command as a representative of Brazil, serving as an apprentice of sorts under Cypher.

Count Squander is a mysterious, age-old man hailing from Europe. He has been able to live for such a great amount of time due to the powers he was born with. The Count can absorb the strength, will, knowledge, power and life from another being. This process of absorbing energy extends his life span. His powers allow him to temporarily use another persons abilities as his own.

Ruling over the small European state of Voulkannhiem he does not often trouble himself in foreign affairs, other than the pursuit of power – and will not play kind with who or what is in his way.

Arndor Blackfin: The Warrior Lord of the Deep.
The Hosethe Tribe once ruled over the Isla Atlantis, and are on a constant quest to regain their old status. After a series of despotic dictators, the family were ousted to be replaced with a more diplomatic form of rule, which led to the nomadic Tribe being formed.

In order to contest with the Stormfoot, a warrior granted the will of the sea and sky, dark magic was used to endow another weapon with it’s abilities. The mighty warrior Arndor, right hand of the leader of the tribe, his Blackfin, was given the weapon. Despite not matching the weapon it was created to mimic, Arndor’s mace makes up for that in sheer recklessness and brutality. But is that enough to return his tribe’s status as lords of Atlantis?

    Thanks, JR19759!

Here’s a remake of Ramona Stormfoot, who can be seen a few posts up ^^

The secretive Isla Atlantis in the Mediterranean Sea is the home to the mysterious Atlantean race. This race live almost twice as long as humans, have pale, green skin and pointed ears. They can breathe both beneath and above water, which allows them to navigate the vast underwater sector of their small nation. Among these Atlanteans stands Ramona Stormfoot. A high-ranking soldier in the Atlantean army. Born with the great strength, speed and the power to fly, she quickly raised through the ranks.

Ramona was eventually awarded the title Stormfoot, following the death of her predecessor. As the Stormfoot, she served as a hero and guardian of the Atlanteans and the island, as well as a powerful show of Atlantean might and power to the rest of the world. She was also awarded the Trident of Storms for her new role. Additional to her powers, she was granted the ability to summon a great, golden trident from the skies in a bolt of lightening and to control the sea and skies to create storms to fight her foes.

Stormfoot uses her abilities to protect her home from evil as well as battle evil across the world as a member of the Command, taking great pleasure in the vanquishing of her enemies and the heat of battle.

It’s been over two years and I doubt any of you remember this thread but I recently remembered how much fun it is to create characters on Heromachine and thought I’d resurrect this fossil.

I’ll kick off with a guy I made back on the Ugo forums way back when, and recently remade him: Captain McCutler.

Captain Jonah McCutler is in many ways the stereotypical depiction of a pirate. However, this modern voyager is different in the fact he blends the traditional image with advanced technology – giving him the edge over any regular bandits and providing him with a reasonable arsenal through which he can battle the heroes. This includes various laser rifles and a peg leg, which itself doubles as a laser. In addition to this, McCutler resides in the ‘Drunken Wench’ a pirate ship rejuvenated by the Captain’s technological prowess.

McCutler is largely known for his mercenary work, however he is known to carry out mission for the peace keeping organisation Beacon on the underhand. His exploits appear to be motivated by the adventurism he shares with the pirates he styled his persona on, rather than an ‘evil’ outlook.
