WordPress has “critical error” when trying to upload pictures

The title says it all, pretty much. I tried to upload some new pics in a new post on my art thread, and while the text for the post managed to get posted, the images didn’t, and WordPress told me there was a “critical error” upon trying to submit said post. It didn’t specify what the error was, weirdly enough…
