SulemanParticipantI am really digging that samurai! Great posing, great background, great shading, and good use of those armor and clothing items!
Seriously, every time I look at it, the more cool details and more evidence of your work I see.

therianthropeParticipantWell… I am humbled.
Thanks everyone. And thanks Jeff Herbert (and all you guys that keep it going) for this awesome site.

therianthropeParticipantHi all!
So I was poking around with the new background material and arrived at this serene scene. Any suggestions of what I should put in it? Or if you’d like to put something in it yourself, I’ve attached the text save-file. If you do, please let me know cause I’d like to see what you come up with.
Cheers!

Herr DParticipantLooks nice–That one tree near the foreground might be darker to go with the sunset in the background. You should post that one in Custom Backgrounds. It’s that good.

therianthropeParticipantThanks for pointing out that section of the forums, HerrD. I’d never really spent much time there.
Well, I decided to go with a colonial/pirate-y scene… about all I learned from it is to never do back-lighting

I feel like it just came out looking dirty, but I spent a good bit of time on it so I wanted to put it up here.

headlessgeneralMemberUgh. So beautiful. This is probably my favorite piece ever created with HeroMachine. Absolutely gorgeous.

SulemanParticipantNice! That’s some creative use Heromachine! The colors are pretty incredible. That really is one of the best HM pieces I’ve seen, as a whole. The mexican theme and the colors remind me of the Black Velvetopia level in Psychonauts (one of my favorite level designs in one of my favorite video games).
Really, if there’s one thing that bothers me about it, it’s the disconnection at the right wrist. Some way to either smooth out the line at the wrist or cover it would make it even more immersive.

CantDrawParticipantThose last two are awesome! Very creative!
