Daimon X belongs to a new type of demonic warriors, bred by Baal, one of the Princes of Hell. He commands tens of thousands of these creatures. Fortunately they fight the forces of the other Princes in hell. Daimon X was the first and strongest one of them. He was sent to Earth to kill the Child of Hope, but when that little baby girl touched him, his soul was sent back to hell, leaving his body an empty shell.
The White Witches of Light who were guarding the child used this body to save the “life” of Darrien Shane, a former elite soldier, who was lethally wounded during the fight against Daimon X. Now Darren’s soul lives within the body of the demon. Luckily the demon has shapechanging powers, so he can assume his former identity, although only temporarily.
