barbarioParticipanti really like these. i like that they are random issues. i really love that late silver-age era.

RobMParticipantThanks. I miss the days when a story longer than two issues was a rarity.

HammerknightParticipantMe too. Back when you got the whole story just by reading one book, and you didn’t have to worry about missing anything if you were unable to get the next issue.

WMDBASSPLAYERParticipantAmazing covers, dude! ELEMENTAL WEREWOLVES??? What was the inspiration? I love ’em, especially the stone werewolf! Restoration Fox is very interesting; what, if any, is his story?

Restoration Fox is one of a burgeoning population of Hybrids, half-animal half-man, genetically engineered to perform specific and varied dangerous and/or unpleasant jobs. Fox was the leader of a Hybrid civil rights organization that was really a front for an international criminal cartel. Obsidian Tiger, a fellow hybrid, exposed Fox as a gangster and in their ensuing fight, Fox was presumed dead – until his mysterious return in issue 239 of course.

JR19759Keymaster$1.00 for an annual!? Sign me up.
And the shattered mask is an awesome effect.
I like the second design better, the background works better in my opinion.February 15, 2013 at 4:34 pm #19381
VampyristParticipantI agree with JR, the second’s background is better.
