    Good morning/evening to all 🙂 I am starting this thread as both an online repository for my more successful work in HeroMachine (as many of you have also done here) and in order to receive any potential tips and suggestions you might have. Plus, sharing is caring, right? 😉

    The thread title relates to the titles of (some subplots of) my stories, as will of course the characters shown here. Without spoiling too much of the background, i’ll just say that theirs is a dying world, where abusing magic has brought about the decay of the primordial barrier between the material and spiritual planes, so ooky stuff often comes crawling in from beyond… a world where Imps are used as ushers, runners and foot soldiers/cannon fodder for stronger, proper demons currently (still) unable to fully cross over.
    On occasion, due to various dealings with humans, some Imps defect to the Light, striking up deals to be spared in the upcoming Armageddon in return for a quota of infernal plots thwarted. And, as in any good witness protection/rehabilitation programme, they receive new (human) identities, have monitoring officers (angels), peer support networks, etc. And have i mentioned they kick hellspawn ass? 😀

    Brace yourselves, pictures are coming :]

    Many thanks, HK 🙂 I was pretty pleased with myself for intuitively placing the ‘spoiler’ thingies right, but i’m just not sure how i could shrink the images a little bit (or a bit more, in the case of the last-posted human portraits). I probably should mention i’ve uploaded them straight from my machine (good-ol’ drag & drop). Do let me know if you got any ideas, coz so far i haven’t seen a ‘size’ handle.
    Also, happy Holidays to you and all! 🙂

    Happy Easter. I am still trying to figure out some of the stuff here myself. For the most part I use Print Screen and then paste it to Paint so that I can crop and save the picture.

    Thanks, HK 🙂 Yeah, i should probably try tinkering with them in Paint anyway.

    Time for a few Imps turned Djinn (see post #1 above, regarding defecting to the Light), banded together and with some upcoming others as The Miracle Court (points to you for spotting the reference):

    * Chiller (final)
    * Noomph
    * Wirecrank (final)

    Credits for the flowers & grass in Noomph’s background and for the partial source of her pose go to the very talented Meniukas and AMS, respectively.
