    Alias: Highlander
    Real Name: Shawn MacTaggert
    Genre: Superhero
Powers/Special Skills: rapid regenerative healing factor, expert swordsmanship
    Special Weapons/Tools/Armor: Claymore sword
Affiliations: Her Majesty’s League of Heroes
    Other Aliases: none
    Status: active
    Bio:
Shawn and his wife Vanessa worked as curators at a museum in Scotland. One night, a crate arrived, unmarked, anonymously. When the couple opened it, inside they found a small statue of a Scottish clansman warrior from the time of William Wallace. The next morning, Conner was arranging a few iron artifacts on a shelf when one fell and crushed his foot on the marble floor of the museum. But to his surprise, his foot repaired itself within seconds, right before his eyes. Vanessa had been affected by the statue as well. The MacTaggerts hid away the statue as not to affect the museum’s visitors. They learned of Her Majesty’s League of Heroes and trained with the weaponry of their highland ancestors and joined its ranks.

    Alias: Hitchhiker
    Name: none
    Genre: parasitic spirit
    Powers/Special Skills: possession
    Special Weapons/Tools/Armor: none
    Affiliations: none
Other Aliases: Omnis, Epidromeas, Geist Esser
Status: nearly finished with dormancy cycle
    Bio:
The almost mindless ancient thing currently known as Hitchhiker has been around for millennia. This parasitic spirit is able to invade the mind of a living thing and feed off of its psychic energy, slowly driving the host insane before moving on to another unwilling host. The Hitchhiker is, in its own form, completely intangible and invisible, and has only been identified three times before now. In ancient Rome it was referred to as “Omnis,” meaning “everyone”; in ancient Greece it was named “Epidromeas,” or “invader”; and in 19th century Germany it was labelled “Geist Esser,” which roughly translates to “mind eater.” One of the few ways to identify a human possessed by the Hitchhiker is that a white streak forms in the host’s hair, and his/her pupil’s turn white for a few seconds when the parasite is either entering or exiting. There is no way to tell how many otherwise healthy people have had to be institutionalized because they were the victims of this horrible menace. The Hitchhiker must go dormant and sleep for a period of about 20 years after being active for about 100.

    Powers/Special Skills: accomplished farmer, gardener
    Special Weapons/Tools/Armor: none
    Affiliations: Prairie Dwarves
    Other Aliases: none
    Status: n/a
    Bio:
Hoblox and his wife Neia are humble, pacifistic dwarves living on the edge of Wrynwood Forest in the fantasy realm of Fontegan. They are quite content running their farm and selling their crops at market. In fact, they would have lived their lives quietly and peacefully if not for the abandoned human baby that Hoblox found crying in the forest one afternoon. He brought the infant home and after some deliberation, he and Neia adopted the baby boy as their own. He would grow to one day be a great hero, in large part because he was raised by Hoblox and Neia to be kind, fair, and selfless.

After breaking him out of prison, Brunwald’s minion and genius scientist built Aksel an enormous mechanical suit outfitted with all manner of ballistic weaponry as well as nearly invincible armor. Alias: Hoodlum
    Real Name: Red Riding Hood
    Genre: Fairy Tale
Powers/Special Skills: expert swordswoman and strategist
    Special Weapons/Tools/Armor: The Wolfsbane
    Affiliations: The Daughters Grimm
    Other Aliases: none
Status: active in the Book of Fables
    Bio:
Everyone knows the story of Red Riding Hood. What most do not know is that Red and every other fairy tale character exist in a dimension contained within the magical Book of Fables. Within this world, the lives of these characters have continued after their tales were told. Red decided that she no longer wanted to rely on anyone to save her from evil, and when she learned that the Big Bad Wolf had in fact been one of many giant wolves, she procured a powerful sword called the Wolfsbane and set out to slay them all. She had found some success in this mission when the Book of Fables was suddenly seized by the villainous Faerie Queen and brought under her terrible reign. Red now had a new mission: to free her world from the Faerie Queen and her minions. She recruited several other fairy tale damsels in distress and trained them in the ways of battle, espionage, sabotage, and psychological manipulation, and henceforth the Daughters Grimm have been an enormous thorn in the side of the Faierie Queen. When she is heroing, Red goes by the alias Hoodlum.

    Alias: Hook
    Real Name: James Bartlett
    Genre: Fairy Tale
Powers/Special Skills: expert fencer, marksman, and seafarer
Special Weapons/Tools/Armor: mechanical arm with hook hand
    Affiliations: The Jolly Roger
    Other Aliases: Captain Hook
Status: active in the Book of Fables
    Bio:
The day that Captain Hook managed to murder Wendy Darling was truly a game changer. Peter Pan, the pirate’s long-time nemesis, went absolutely berserk. The flying boy captured Hook, ripped off his hook, and fed the pirate’s entire left arm to the same crocodile. Pan then assumed command of the Jolly Roger, brought the ship out to the deep ocean, and threw Hook overboard. Hook drifted for days, bleeding from his shoulder, until he was ultimately rescued by the Lost Boys and Tinkerbell, who had refused to follow Peter Pan on his dark road of revenge. They nursed the pirate back to health, but his will to continue living was nearly gone. He was a pirate with no crew, no ship, and no purpose. But as he lay in his bed in their underground den, the Lost Boys’ pure child-like innocence began to wear off on Hook, and he found himself humbled and eager to atone for his past crimes. The boys fashioned him a mechanical metal arm with a brand new hook to replace the one that Pan had taken from him, and for the first time in his adult life, the man who was born James Bartlett became a hero, putting his impressive swordsmanship to good use against evil. He knows the day will one day come when Hook must confront the now bloodthirsty Peter Pan.

Powers/Special Skills: superhuman strength when angry
    Special Weapons/Tools/Armor: none

    Other Aliases: none

    Bio:
Seamus is a huge soccer fanatic, so much so that he tried out for Scotland’s national team at least a dozen times and never made it. Frustrated, Seamus agreed to take part in a performance enhancement drug trial to improve his athleticism, but instead it gave him the power to become superhumanly strong when he loses his temper, which is disturbingly often. Although he was barred from playing soccer for obvious reasons, Seamus was recruited to be a part of Her Majesty’s League of Heroes, a team of UK-based superheroes.

    Alias: Hormiga
    Real Name: Francisco Sandoval
    Genre: Superhero
Powers/Special Skills: can shrink to the size of an ant, and the smaller he gets, the stronger he gets proportionally; can grow and retract an extra pair of arms
    Special Weapons/Tools/Armor: none
    Affiliations: The U.N.D.E.R.D.O.G.S.
    Other Aliases: none
    Status: active
    Bio:
Francisco used his powers as a photo journalist in Mexico City. He could sneak into a room and be almost literally like a fly on the wall. He found that he could shrink any object with him as long as it was not larger than him. Thus he was able to get exclusive footage not found anywhere else, much to the chagrin of Mexico’s elite. When they sent their hoods after him, Francisco could usually fend for himself by growing two extra arms and shrinking while becoming stronger. At his smallest, Francisco can lift 850 lbs.
He was soon chosen as the Mexican representative in the UNified Defense Emergency Regulation Division of Global Security. “Hormiga” – pronounced “or-MEE-ga” – is Spanish for “ant.”
