Blue BlazerParticipantAlias: Calico
Real Name: Seth Gentry
Genre: Superhero
Powers/Special Skills: superhuman senses, agility, and coordination
Special Weapons/Tools/Armor: gloved-mounted claws
Affiliations: Cat Commandos, Celestials
Other Aliases: Leo
Status: active
Bio:
A genetic mutation would cause the birth of Seth Gentry, who would grow up from a strange little boy to one of the most famous people on the planet. He was born with his five senses at superhumanly high levels. He could see a fly a mile away, smell a week-old trail, hear whispers two rooms away, taste an oncoming storm on the air, and feel certain things slightly before they happened. He also quickly discovered upon learning to walk and then run and jump that he was uncannily agile and had amazing balance and reflexes. Having read comic books since he was old enough to read, Seth grew up looking forward to the day that he could use his gifts for the betterment of society, but his parents would not allow it, fearing he would be injured or killed. So he waited. In college, he began furiously exercising and toning his body while learning various fighting styles, and soon he was ready to prowl the Ford University campus, stopping would-be muggers and date rapists. Rumors of the strange cat man leaping from the shadows flew across the campus, and Seth enjoyed some secret pride. He was finally stopped one night by a strange trio of students in costumes resembling felines, and asked to join their crime fighting team. Before long, under the new alias Calico, Seth, Seth proved that he would be the best leader of the team, and was easily voted into the position. The group, known as the Cat Commandos, enjoyed relative success even after their college years, but that was not Seth’s final destination. The incredibly popular supergroup the Celestials, whose 12 members each represented a sign of the Zodiac, needed someone to fill the spot left vacant by the retiring of the previous Leo. Upon hearing word of the Cat Commandos, the Celestials’ leader Aquarius approached them and Seth as their leader was asked to fill the open 12th position. After long deliberation and the verbal support of his friends, he finally accepted and became Leo. Little did he know this would begin the downward spiral of Jaguar’s mind, enraged that he hadn’t been picked and that Seth had left the Cat Commandos.Pictures:

TorogParticipantYou put the machine in heromachine Blazer. You’ve got some great naming skills my friend. Incorporating the wing design in the costume is a nice touch. Keep cranking ’em out.

Blue BlazerParticipantName: Cancer
Genre: Artificial Intelligence
Powers/Special Skills: infallible logic; access to many forms of multimedia
Special Weapons/Tools/Armor: nearly indestructible shell; razor-sharp pincers; burrowing drill
Affiliations: The Celestials
Other Aliases: Crabot, Crusty
Status: online
Bio:
Because there are currently no superheroes willing to take the name Cancer or dress like a crab, the Celestials, a team themed after the twelve zodiac signs, were short one member. Team leader Aquarius, always a stickler for the details, refused to accept an 11 member team, and so it fell to Scorpio, the team’s resident tech genius, to design a mechanical crab robot. Scorpio outdid himself with Cancer, a 3-foot high, 6-foot wide artificial intelligence with 8 legs, two pincers, and an ultranium shell. Cancer is capable out thinking only with absolute logic, which can be maddening to many members of the team. Taurus has given Cancer the nicknames Crabot and Crusty.Picture:

Blue BlazerParticipantAlias: Cannon
Real Name: Colin Lennox
Genre: Anti-hero; Supervillain
Powers/Special Skills: high adrenaline levels
Special Weapons/Tools/Armor: cannon arms
Affiliations: Russo Mafia
Other Aliases: Noxx
Status: employed by the Russos
Bio:
When Caligo homicide detective Colin Lennox arrested the infamous serial killer Hangman, he became the hero of the force until the Hangman was released because a technicality in his arrest led to a mistrial. The Hangman wasted no time in retaliating, murdering Lennox’s wife and three children by lynching them in their home. Lennox was ruined. He quit the police force because he could see the dangerous flaws in the justice system, and instead he became the vigilante Noxx, a costumed anti-hero who used over-the-top violence to take out many of Caligo’s worst criminals. The icing on the cake was when Noxx killed Luigi Russo, Caligo’s biggest crime boss. But Russo’s family found Lennox’s hideout and kidnapped him. Then, they took him to their own private laboratory, where several scientists and doctors on the Russo payroll were on hand to perform a bizarre procedure in which Lennox’s arms were removed and replaced with large cannons. He was given the choice to either become a member of the Russo syndicate or kill himself. He chose the first, and Cannon was born. But the worst was yet to come. After he’d been working for the Russos only a few days, Lennox discovered that the true identity of the Hangman was Michael Russo and that he was now Lennox’s boss. His mind fractured to a point of no return, and his memory became slush, and he was finally the heartless, sadistic killing machine the Russos really wanted.Pictures:

Blue BlazerParticipantAlias: Capricorn
Real Name: Dan Sumter
Genre: Supervillain turned hero
Powers/Special Skills: immense strength and size, rock-hard horns, ability to consume any material safely
Special Weapons/Tools/Armor: two large battle maces
Affiliations: Squad 7; The Celestials
Other Aliases: Basher Capricorn
Status: at large
Bio:
Dan is a beast of a man. Well, man-goat. He was once a normal lumberjack, and even then he was 7 feet tall and 350 lbs. When he stumbled upon an animal nymph in the forest he was helping take down, Dan’s life was turned upside down. And his body was turned into that of a giant half-goat/half-man. He is covered in brown fur and has two curved, rock hard horns atop his head. The transformation, which was permanent, drove Dan insane and brought out his primal masculine urge to break stuff. So he began doing this, with great success. It took the efforts of the superhero team Squad 7, particularly the Mentalist, to calm Dan down and restore his sanity. They later recruited him to the team. Dan fought with Squad 7 for a few years until he was asked by the hero Aquarius to join the zodiac-themed team the Celestials. Never feeling as though he fit in with Squad 7, Dan agreed to drop the “Basher” from his alias and he became Capricorn. He carries two humongous war maces, which compliment his incredible ramming force when knocking down buildings or tearing up a subway car.Pictures:

Blue BlazerParticipantAlias: Captain Crusader
Real Name: Glenn Hillman
Genre: Superhero
Powers/Special Skills: unaided flight; super strength and durability; heat vision
Special Weapons/Tools/Armor: none
Affiliations: none
Other Aliases: Awesome Man
Status: active
Bio:
Glenn got his powers back in the 1950’s when he was the victim of an experiment performed by evil scientist Dr. Dread in an attempt to manufacture a superpowered henchman. Unfortunately for the doctor, he had mixed up Glenn’s name with that of an ex-convict. Being a good man, Glenn used his unwelcome but very handy new abilities to apprehend the meddling scientist and then embarked on a decades-long crime-fighting career as Captain Crusader. For a long time, Glenn was a big deal as a superhero, but as times changed and more and more super-powered people turned up, his old-fashioned personality and look began to make him a bit unnoticed. Fearing he would be cast into obscurity, Glenn hired a publicist, he completely re-vamped his look to appear more modern and hip for the youth of today. Reluctantly, Glenn donned the suit and changed his alias to Awesome Man. Sadly, this change only brought on jeers and taunts at Glenn’s obvious drive to appear cool without actually being cool. But hey, even bad publicity is still publicity, right?Pictures:
