Yeah, I think maybe this year it’ll be time that I will attend to it. Been too long since my last vistit (7 years?). But then again I’m not much of a beer drinker and they charge pretty stiff prices on Oktoberfest. Almost € 10 Euros (~ $ 13.50) for one “Maß” (1 liter beer). Like I said – maybe…

Yeah, Munich is imho one of those cities that can be mentioned in one breath with metropolises like Berlin, New York and Paris. But I would not want to live right in the big city anymore – I did for two years and it was a little bit too much for me. I prefer the smaller town of Starnberg some 25 kilometers outside of Munich by now. Maybe it’s my age.
