Once, he was a respected man. After some time spent in the military he briefly retired only to start a new career in kickboxing. While he was respected for his talents in both his military career and and competitive fighting, he quickly became hated for his boastful attitude regarding those skills. It eventually became clear he chose his professions simply for the glory they would bring him, and around the same time he fell under the demonic curse the other Sinners were burdened with. Shunned by those who once praised him, Pride joined together with The Sinners as the only ones who would accept his new demonic nature. Although he constantly tries to act as a leader for the group, he often has trouble making the others follow him.
