Yeah–you know you may find it easier next time to layer insignia on furniture to get a perspective look. The only way I’ve been able to get a desk top looking right dead on is to put the trapezoid belt buckle upside down on top of a rectangle and screen the ends with ‘other scenery.’ Perspective and foreshortening are always tough in 2d anyway.
