Terrence was simply a machine tinkerer who enjoyed inventing innovative tools from spare parts. When he realized the potential of the buzzsaw gauntlets, he immediately robbed a bank to continue funding his work. He also outfitted himself with body armor, possibly ultranium, the strongest metal on Earth.
