Dr. Lamiere is the head of the Physics Department at Brainstorm Enterprises, the top R & D company in America that specializes in creating state-of-the-art technology. But his life was turned upside-down the day he found a metal man alone and scared on the streets of Caligo, and took the poor soul under his wing. This steel fellow, who would later be dubbed the Galvanized Man, had no memory of his past or how he had come to be composed entirely of living metal. The Galvanized has lived with Dr. Lamiere, an aging bachelor, and the scientist has taken it upon himself to teach his charge the fundamentals of right and wrong.
