The latest trailer for “Watchmen: The Movie” is up and it looks pretty awesome. I’m still dubious they can pull off a project this dense in a two-hour movie, but I’m more excited now that I’ve seen this.

The Secret Lair

That looks absolutely epic.
Rorschach and Dr. Manhattan look sweet!
I hope they get the political feel of the book, instead of making it just another superhero movie. Because the book was SO much more then just a superhero story.
That’s my worry too, Ashton. I just don’t see how they’re going to boil that very dense, multi-layered story into a two hour Hollywood outing. I hope they can pull it off, but I suspect what we’re going to get instead are all the “forms” of the novel (super-powers, costumes, stuff blowing up, etc.) without any of the real meat.
I sure hope not. Hey, Jeff. I was thinking, is there any way you would post movie reviews if I wirte them and you like them, I noticed that on Thursdays and Saturdays, there are no set things, maybe you could do them on those days.
I’m not sure, I’d have to check with UGO — technically they own the site, so it’s kind of up to them.
Oh I see.
Well, don’t make too much of a hassle out of it.
Thanks Jeff.
According to Snyder, he’s very protective of everything in the editing process…At the moment, he says the movie runs three hours long.
I’ve never had the plesure of reading the comic but man does that look awesome. I would love for it to be less superhero and more movie that just happens to have superheroes.
