Character Design Challenge #346– The International Legion for Justice: The Villains – Part 2.

Fire Bird was one of Japan’s deadliest weapons during WWII. She was born in 1890 with a horrifying mutation. Fire Bird  -火鳥- sprouts wings of fire and can cause destruction on a massive scale. Faster in flight than any plane at the time, she became legendary for her victories over the allied forces

Your challenge this week is to design Fire Bird.

Rules for posts, contests, and challenges: Original characters only, no copyrighted characters, no characters based on copyrighted characters, no characters based on RPG’s or other games. The characters must be your own design and not based on any character that might be copyrighted in any way. Please keep all submissions PG13: full or partial nudity is prohibited. I have the right to delete any post that I believe crosses this line without warning. Only post characters that have been created solely using Hero Machine, and that you know for certain have never been entered in a contest before. If you aren’t certain, don’t enter it, because I’m not going to go back through all of the contests and check.

All entries must be in JPG or PNG form (BMPs are too big), posted to a publicly accessible website (like the HeroMachine :,ImageShackPhotoBucket, or whatever);

  • Entries must be made as a comment or comments to this post, containing a link directly to the image and the character name;
  • Please name your filesas [your name]-[character name].[file extension] before you upload it. So DiCicatriz, for instance, would save his “Bayou Belle” character image as DiCicatriz-BayouBelle.png.

Please make the link go directly to the image (like this) and not to a hosting jump page (like this).

This contest will close on Sunday, December 3rd at 9:00am Eastern.

This will be the last CDC of 2017.  They will resume on January 7, 2018

    That would be because, I suspect, it is a link to a file on the user’s ow computer, and not to a website! Tori, please try again, but follow the instructions on how to post your picture…
    Thanks!

    Can’t see the second version due to photobucket issues.

  6. djuby says:

    Strangely I could see it. Usually Photobucket is such a nuisance that I generally ask that folks use something else…sadly I forgot to this time.

  7. ams says:

    Damn! Couldn’t finish my pic for this weeks entry……

    Good luck to all!

  8. djuby says:

    Contest closed. Ŕèsult posted shortly

  9. ams says:

    and………

  10. Herr D says:

    Is djuby okay? I know there was the recent hospital stay. It’s not like him to be this long.

  11. CantDraw says:

    Has anybody heard from djuby? I’m getting a little concerned.

  12. JR19759 says:

    Ok, I’ve no idea where djuby has got to, but at this point I might as well step in and judge the contest from when he closed it. I’ll put the results up shortly.
    I think after this we’ll just put the CDC’s to bed for the winter and see what happens in the new year. I don’t particularly want to lose the CDC’s but I’m completely out of topic ideas to keep them going.

    I think that the best opinion is to continue The International Legion for Justice: The Villains, or start The International Legion for Justice: The Heroes.

  14. Herr D says:

    Anybody have an e-mail for him? I checked his profile and didn’t see one.

    (JR, if need be, I’ll generate a few contest ideas for next year for you or djuby. It’ll take some of the pressure off, perhaps. I don’t mind not entering the contests I generate, if that’s a factor. I always have more ideas than time, and always better ideas than skills.)

  15. JR19759 says:

    Don’t worry guys, djuby has contacted me. He’s fine, just dealing with some family stuff and his internet isn’t reliable enough for him to be posting regularly. He’ll be back doing the CDCs in January.
