Well I went to wound care today and also spoke with the hyperbaric tech. All good news. The xray of my foot came back with no additional infection in the bones of my foot so no additional surgery. The hyperbaric tech said my insurance cleared the treatment and my first "dive" is tomorrow morning at 10 am. Tech said to expect it to take about 3 hours! Here is basicly what the chamber looks like:
40 treatments for 3 hours each monday-friday and hopefully my foot will be fully healed by the end of which! Wish me luck everyone!!!
That is quite literally the most sci-fi contraption I’ve seen in my life. Are you sure they aren’t putting you into stasis?
Personally, I think they’re putting him in the zero room to make sure he regenerates properly.
Does it have WI-FI? Think of all the ‘machining you can do…….;)
It’s the cyberpunk Sleeping Beauty coffin! Horoscope for anyone having a birthday in one of these:
Beware of hunters, monarchs, and prehensile thorns. Short people are your friends!
Get on your good foot, K! And don’t feel deflated as they let you out . . .
Wow, that’s sure strange.
If they begin to speak about “vita-ray”, say yes!
Good luck, Kaldath
Actually, that’s a LOT better than they used to be! Imagine being walled in like that, only all opaque, but for one small window, and about half as much room… Good Luck!
Well my first Hyerbaric treatment is in the “tank” . It wasn’t too bad. Only issue I had was getting comfortable on the super thin matteress of the bed.
Hope it all goes well. I am way too claustrophobic for that!
Same here!
