So, for this weeks contest we're going back to an old favourite theme of mine. This week you must create an image inspired by a piece of music. It can be any kind of image (within the standard rules obviously) but you must include a link to the song that inspired your entry (a youtube or soundcloud link please, for simplicities sake).
As per usual, no limits on entries this week and the contest will close at midnight Saturday (blog time). Please read the contest rules before entering, have fun and good luck.
Rules for posts, contests, and challenges that I am hosting: Original characters only, no copyrighted characters, no characters based on copyrighted characters, no characters based on RPG’s or other games. The characters must be your own design and not based on any character that might be copyrighted in any way. I have the right to delete any post that I believe crosses this line without warnings. Only post characters that you have either created for this contest specifically or you know for certain have never been entered to a contest before. If you aren’t certain, don’t enter it, because I’m not going to go back through all of the contests and check.
A song by my father about how obsessed people are obssesed with technology: https://soundcloud.com/simon-beck-3/genie
And the creation itself: http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah307/Dreadyacht/Drinkfluid-The%20Genie%20Wont%20Fit%20The%20Bottle%20Any%20More_zpsz9v3ik54.png
Plus Cave Pools (1960s Doctor Who music-type stuff): https://soundcloud.com/simon-beck-3/cave-pools
And a low-budget creature to go with the music: http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah307/Dreadyacht/drinkfluid-low-budget%20Cave%20Pools%20monster_zpstwxr8eyi.png

I drew this one a long time ago, and while I didn’t enter it into a contest, I *did* post it to the Heromachine FB page. Alas, it’s not that great a drawing, by my current standards, just a good joke I feel like sharing. But while I’d have liked to re-do it, there simply wasn’t time or opportunity this week.
It’s an homage to the Dave Brubeck jazz classic, “Take Five,” and a pun on the fact that you need to shoot down FIVE planes to be considered an ace fighter pilot. So, here we have a WWII flying ace, formerly a musician, posing next to his P-51 Mustang by the White Cliffs of Dover:

heart-throb badboy vampire who lures and charms the nerdy inexperienced girls from school onto the woods as prey (this is my first time btw)

(the actual core inspiration starts at 1:08- -3:25, although it all works, I like it best cayuse it has the drum and chanting as well as violen. I don’t expect you to listen to the other two versions, although all three were the complete inspiration.
After that I would let it go to just the violen
Queen of the Damned – Beach Scene (Original movie soundtrack), performed by Marissa Licatta,

I was into Elves AND gypsies last week when I created this 🙂
Ok guys, this weeks contest is now closed. The result will be up shortly.
