Character Design Challenge ♯162- Dressed To Impress

So, those of you who've been around a while will know the drill on costume based contests, which is what this is, but for the sake of those of you who don't here's a quick run down. What I want you guys to do this week is design the best costume you possibly can. It can be from any genre, you can do everyday clothes, fantasy gowns, a superhero costume etc. The only things I don't want are armour or protective gear, that's another contest for another time. You don't even have to bother doing anything with the character or pose and the only reason you will need to do hair is if there is a hair-piece/ hat that goes with the costume. This is because I will only be judging you on the creativity of your costumes.

As per usual, no limits on the number of entries and the contest will close at midnight Saturday (blog time). Please read the contest rules before entering, have fun and good luck.

Rules for posts, contests, and challenges that I am hosting: Original characters only, no copyrighted characters, no characters based on copyrighted characters, no characters based on RPG’s or other games. The characters must be your own design and not based on any character that might be copyrighted in any way. I have the right to delete any post that I believe crosses this line without warnings. Only post characters that you have either created for this contest specifically or you know for certain have never been entered to a contest before. If you aren’t certain, don’t enter it, because I’m not going to go back through all of the contests and check.

    My “Dressed to Impress” entry. No backstory here as to my character. I went with a superhero because of personal preference. Just for reference I’m calling her “Ms. Sky”.

    Will shading and poses give us extra points? If I don’t have to, I’d prefer not to, but I will if it will make a difference.

    @hawk007- posing won’t

    Superfly, VERY god job with “Ms. Sky”! Only thing that seemed a little off was the Face… Not sure what it was, but it seems a bit flat, somehow…

    Aguar: The Steel Angel
    Not really a story behind this guy. Just your average fantasy supernatural super-powerful being.

    I went with the head tilting up so she is looking forward while flying. I dont see that one used alot and it can be difficult to utilize it nicely.

    The black symbolizes that he Is like a shadow, the red symbolizes the blood of his enemies he has spilled, and the grey symbolizes the line between good and evil.

    The mask is burlap, the shirt is wool. I don’t know what the hood is.

    I may have gone a bit overboard with this one.
