Ok guys, time for a challenge. What I want you guys to create for me this week is a character undergoing some form of physical transformation. Now, a few basic ground rules before we start. 1. The character must originally start out human, but they may transform into something or someone that is either human or non-human. 2. The character must be shown undergoing the transformation, so no before & after pictures. You can do a sequence showing the transformation, so long as the sequence is all in one picture, or you can show the transformation in its middle stage in one image so long as it is obvious what the person is turning into. Oh and obviously when I'm talking about a transformation I mean a person physically changing their form to become something different, not someone putting on a disguise to look different.
Hopefully that should provide all the guidance you need.
As per usual, no limits on entries and the contest will close at midnight Saturday (blog time). Please read the contest rules before entering, have fun and good luck.
Rules for posts, contests, and challenges that I am hosting: Original characters only, no copyrighted characters, no characters based on copyrighted characters, no characters based on RPG’s or other games. The characters must be your own design and not based on any character that might be copyrighted in any way. I have the right to delete any post that I believe crosses this line without warnings. Only post characters that you have either created for this contest specifically or you know for certain have never been entered to a contest before. If you aren’t certain, don’t enter it, because I’m not going to go back through all of the contests and check.
If you don’t know how to enter, there’s a handy little diagram below the jump.
Hogarth Martin is a normal 10 year old boy until he puts on the magic ring “Ur-Zal” and is able to transform into the mighty HERO MACHINE! Hero Machine’s abilities include flight, super strength, and being able to conjure energy formations into any object he likes. Hogarth always dreamed of being a hero, somebody special until the day he found “Ur-Zal” washed up on the beach. The origin of the ring is unknown, but allows Hogarth to live our many boys’ fantasy of being a superhero that can make a difference.
My entry isn’t actually a single person transforming, but two people: An human federal agent and an alien entity made of light.
Lucy Flarewood was a top notch FBI agent. One day, in one of her field missions, she stumbled upon an old Soviet base similar to Area 51. In a room with a sign that said “Тунгуска” (Tunguska), she found a think tank containing a female, humanoid, energy-based life form. After freeing the creature, she told Lucy that her name was Lumia, and that she arrived on Earth from the distant planet Lux in 1908 for peaceful exploration, but the Russian authorities captured her. As a greeting for her freedom, Lumia merged into Lucy’s body to give her light-controlling abilities. From now on they both would fuse every day to save the world from evil under the codename of Aurora, the Guardian of Light.
Turning to stone…. That’s some mysterious $#!& right there. 😀 http://i411.photobucket.com/albums/pp197/Demigod-8-/Turning%20to%20stone_zps2rf33nrc.png?t=1446500491
Man by day, monster by night.
Dino Dude II
The first Dino Dude I did years ago had a different face and clothes and was a mutant instead of a scientific accident
so this is Dino Dude II
Here’s a midtransformation picture I made 2 years ago: Wonder Boy’s True Face
And, even if I’m almost sure this isn’t admittable, here’s a transformation in process:
Ok guys, this weeks contest is closed. The result should already be up.
