Ok guys, for this weeks contest we're going to be starting on the theme of the Four Classical Elements. And we're kicking off with fire. So, the idea is simple, you create either a fire themed character or a fire themed image (e.g. a burning building or a campfire). Simple enough right?
As per usual, no limits on entries and the contest will close at midnight Saturday (blog time). Please read the contest rules before entering, have fun and good luck.
Rules for posts, contests, and challenges that I am hosting: Original characters only, no copyrighted characters, no characters based on copyrighted characters, no characters based on RPG’s or other games. The characters must be your own design and not based on any character that might be copyrighted in any way. I have the right to delete any post that I believe crosses this line without warnings. Only post characters that you have either created for this contest specifically or you know for certain have never been entered to a contest before. If you aren’t certain, don’t enter it, because I’m not going to go back through all of the contests and check.
Well This contest came about at a fairly good time considering the character I did a redesign of this past week!
Entry#1: FireFly ( Redesign ) – http://www.heromachine.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/Firefly-HM3.png
In the words of Torts from Mixels, “Yay-yay”!
Something stupid I made..
Sorry, I just realized the link doesn’t work; It’s the 6th one down.
EDITED By Kaldath:
The 6th one down ? I assume you mean this one ?

Here’s my entry: The hot-headed superterrorist Napalm!
A former member of the superhero team Urban Guardians, Napalm was kicked out because his teammates didn’t approved his extremely violent approach when dealing with criminals.
Outside of the crew, he decided to create his own team: Riot, a gang of superpowered anarchists with the objective of destroying the corrupt system established in the city. No matter how many innocent people get hurt.
Wow, I don’t think I’ve posted anything here in years.
Presenting: Temürdai, pyromancer of the Sky Khan, terror of the eastern skyways: http://i497.photobucket.com/albums/rr336/Spicyrocketsauce/Sky%20Khan%20Pyromancer.png~original
For this one, I used a little-known and ancient technique that the elders refer to in reverential tones as “Actually bothering with the background”. Every image is improved by adding a sunset.
I had a bunch of names in mind for this guy: Sunsworn Paladin, Sentinel of the Unquenched Flame, Exalted Knight of Embers… but I can’t pick one, so let’s call him Percy.
Entry #2: Arson
Goblet of Everburning Flame

It’s Blaze… You should probably run…
It Comes from Fire! http://www.heromachine.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/ams-It-Comes-from-FIRE-oct-2015a.png
Last one, I swear.
Look, ma! I made a mech!
Because, for some reason, HeroMachine wouldn’t let me export a zoomed-out image, I had to take a screenshot to get the full-body version.
As you can see, it’s at a pretty sorry resolution, so consider the first link to be the definitive version.
Behold, the High Demon’s weapon of choice/OTHER right hand, Mr. Napalm!
Here’s mine. Pyromancer.
The Fire Ant
So, a hero with the element of fire who is just a regular guy . . .
Here is a Djinn, a being of smokeless fire
Here’s Phoenix, a fire fairy, who’s rising from the ashes (of the bridge she’s burning). She still needs some practice controlling her fire-generating abilities. “Did I do that?”
Damage- 500% base weapon damage
Skill Level Required- Master
Mana Cost- 75
Duration- 25 seconds
Cooldown- 10 minutes
Area of Effect- 50 m
Affected Targets burn for 75% base weapon damage for 1 minute
Splash Damage, Friendly Fire possible
Requires 15 points in Pyromancy and Level 25
One of the penultimate spells of the fire mage, this is not a spell designed for delicate or precision striking. It is instead a literal rain of hellish fire across a wide swath, burning all in its wake. While able to turn the tide of battle completely, it is best to exercise extreme caution. It was first developed by Archmage Garielldria the Verbose, when she sought to push the limits of pyromancy.
Ok guys, this weeks contest is closed. The poll will be up shortly.
