I must admit at first I kind of doubted this project but i think I;m gonna like it I know their going to eventually Know Superman but all and all I think it looks awsome
I don’t know how I feel about this…
At first, it made me think of the “Black Widow” movie by the SNL

But… Well, I grew into it, and it seems like there’s hope 🙂 I’ll sure give it a try!
Still have my doubts about this, but I wont know for certain until I see it I guess.
It’ll probably be good enough that it gets cancelled quick, but hey–glad they’re trying.
James Olsen? Really, ONLY one man can use a camera?
that’s like say only Djuby can hm! DC honestly use the chance, make a new character!
Anyone else notice that they never once use the word “Superman”? And Kara only seems to mention Kal-El by name once. Every other time it’s “my cousin” or “your cousin”. I find that kinda strange and awkward.
Anyway, this seems to be aimed at a female audience, no?
It’s a soap opera, first, and anything else comes second…
I’m not a big fan of Soaps.
Kind of a shame…. the actress seems decent, the scripting IS better than the average Soap,
and Kara (whatever happened to Linda Danvers?} is one of my favorites in the DC Universe.
I guess they’re trying to go the same route as Smallville, Heroes, and most of the rest of that genre..
The first half of the trailer had me questioning. The second half really picked up, though. I’m going to forgo my usual rant about changing canon. But, here’s why I have doubts: It’s on a major network. So, they will do whatever they think will attract the largest audience. Which tends to ruin it for true fans.
I think that’s why the CW has been so successful with “Smallville,” “Arrow,” and “The Flash.” The writers make no secret that they are geeking out. They know their audience. They are in the audience watching with us.
“Gotham” just wrapped up its first season. It, too, had its hits and misses. “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” has been pretty fun. Joss Whedon respects the core with plenty of Avenger and Marvel Universe easter eggs. And “Daredevil” on Netflix was a rather pleasant surprise. After all my doubts and nitpicking, I am glad that the superhero genre is finally getting some respect when it comes to movies and television.
@keric – I agree – wish it was Jaime Olsen – a female photog. If you are marketing to teen girls – which they appear to be doing – which is great – then go for it!
This seems to be aimed at teenage girls. And as a seventeen year old girl… I hate it. Why? Because it’s not aimed at the teenage girls who like superheroes and explosions and lots of action. It’s aimed at the ones that enjoy soap operas. There’s nothing wrong with those sorts of shows if people like them, but they’re not my taste. I might still give this show a shot, but I’m starting to doubt I’ll enjoy it.
Ah well. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is enough to keep me covered. And college is going to be eating up all my free time anyway.
What will you be studying?
