Looks interesting. Ultrons voice isn’t what I was expecting. Love the fact the Hulk-buster armour is making an appearance.

Good first trailer to set the setting. Not much meat to the story yet, but that will come with the second trailer. Not sure on the final design of Ultron. Too organic, was hoping for more like the drones you see in the middle of the piece. Ultron should be cold, calculating with hollow eyes. There shouldn’t be an ounce of humanity in his facial expressions. We didn’t see Vision yet either, not even a glimpse. Still pretty stoked to see this flick. Cheers!

Agreed with both of you guys so far — I love the HulkBuster armor, and there are doubtlessly better trailers to come as more footage gets in the can.

I also love how all the movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe are fitting together and building. This is a shared world in motion, planting seeds as it goes along that you know will bear fruit down the road. I can already sort of see how Stark’s growing more cognizant of the effect his technology is having (often for the worse) in the world, and how that might lead to him changing in Iron Man 3 or Cap 3.

  4. ams says:

@ Jeff – Are you watching SHEILD? If so I do believe the current underlying storyline (the alien doodles) might have something to do with Ultron.

    ams: Are you watching SHIELD?

I enjoyed the entire first season, and have the new one DVRed but I haven’t watched it yet.

Is it sad that I’ve already seen this trailer over twenty times because I keep showing it to everyone? And that I, rather guiltily, found myself saying “Hail Hydra!” when Marvel attributed the trailer leak to them?

Huh, I never thought of that. Someone mentioned that it looked like a circuit board but I never connected it to Ultron… I guess the biggest problem with that theory is that, assuming based off of past movie crossovers, the TV and the movies run in a relative “real time” scenario, so this season of S.H.I.E.L.D. is taking place before Avengers 2 and Ultron hasn’t been awakened yet. But it’s still a possibility. Perhaps in the Avengers movie we find out that Ultron has actually been around for months and isn’t created during the film itself, as most fans are assuming.

Ok why do I seem to want have a fangirl moment when I see Marvel’s Movies 😀

  8. CKnap says:

Captain America 3 I read is going to set in the Civil War storyline, Robert Downey Jr is going to be one of the main cast in that movie I read about it all a couple weeks ago. Thats pretty exciting I just really hope they pull it off correctly and are able to bring characters like Spider-Man into it, he played a fairly big part in that story.

Meh. I’ll go see Mad Max and wait for this to show up on cable.

  11. DiCicatriz says:

Fangirling so hard right now. I can’t wait to see how Vision is realized. I wonder if they’re going to hint at something between him and Scarlet Witch…

  12. Doctor Stoner says:

I cant wait!!! Tho I am sure hoping that even after The Avengers 3 Comes out that the Marvel Cinematic Universe will still contue with a phase 4 and so on but im sure it will all end at Phase 3 🙁 Tho there are alot of other SuperHeros and Villains I would love to see.
