Friend of HeroMachine Ian T. Healy has made his existing "Just Cause" novels free for the Kindle today only in preparation for his upcoming "Deep Six" release. Check out the trailer (featuring some HeroMachine art, by the way):
If you're looking for some entertaining super-hero fiction, this is a great opportunity.
I picked up the Just Cause books and look forward to reading them.
I got them also, though it will likely be a little while before I get to reading them, as I am working my way through the Wheel of Time series again since the last book in the series was published earlier this year. I decided to start at the beginning again and read all 14 books back to back.
Hope you like ’em, dblade!
Also, I sent you a couple of emails yesterday but I think they might not have gotten to you, can you check your spam folder maybe?
I checked my spam folder and I haven’t received anything. Perhaps you sent to my work email? I’ve sent messages to you from there in the past so that info might still be in your email app.
Side Note: Instead of sending email directly from my work account, I’ve started sending emails to my home email than forwarding to you from my phone. Weird thing is anytime I use HeroMachine in the subject line the filters at work keep it from being delivered and they disappear into the void.
Wow! I’m doing the exact same thing. I’m finishing up book 4 as I write this. I originally ready through book 8, years ago but stopped when I made the choice to wait for all the books to be completed.
Hm, I’m just using the reply function through GMail to the original messages you sent. I also tried an all-new one just now. They’re all going to the SBCGlobal.net address.
I just started reading book 7 “Crown of Swords”, last night
The test email made it through!
Hold the presses! I had a filter for anything with “Hero” in the subject line. This was for a message list I used to get. Your messages were being sent to that folder! I received your emails and will be going over your instructions this afternoon. Thanks, Jeff!
How embarrassing. The void was my own creation.
I’m just glad they got through, I thought I was going nuts.
I bailed on the whole series on book 6, I think, and can’t say I regret it. It got so repetitive, boring, and indulgent I just couldn’t take it any more.
