The Secret Lair
Ummm. Good Lord.
This gives me an idea for another new fake TV show: the SyFy Channel Original Series Zeroes of Cosplay
My only question is how much of this is intentional, knowing the attention gained by how utterly craptacular the costume is?
What has been seen cannot be unseen!
If it weren’t for the hair, that one of Thor would actually be pretty good.
He Man looks ok, its bugdet but it works.
Jocker looks awesome.
The fat x: I really don’t think are fails (aside from spidey). They all made an effort. Most nerd are not as attractive as the characters they adore. The Wonder Woman is rather awesome if you think of her as “what Wonder Woman will look like as a mortal in her 50s or 60s”
The Batman, Thor and Sta War trio ARE intentionally bad.
From top to bottom:
-Spider-Ham, Power Ranger
-The Iron Man Mark 0.000000000000000000001×10^-Google
-Thor: The Homeless God of Soup and Paper Towels (and the side-by-side comparison indicates obvious inebriation and/or mental illness).
-Ben Affleck (left) and Chunk-Li
-She-Man (left) and the kid from Modern Family: Gotham Edition
-Is this the sequel to Spaceballs, or is the robot from NTFS:SD:SUV:: showing off his new WWE Championship belt? Plus: I think the guy in the bad Chewbacca costume used to work at Wal-Mart. That reminds me: I need a new mini-fridge/hair-styling machine. Can I not borrow the R2D-tard costume until two weeks past never?
-This must be the disproportionate chibi version of Wolverine from the Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon. I’ve lost faith in Stan Lee’s street cred after this.
-This is awesome! I mean, a fat drag-queen Wonder Woman with hair that big? Even with the granny panties showing and the loafers that look like they were Photoshopped from someone else’s feet, this is impressively, contest-winningly bad.
I find the joker pretty good.
Yes, the guy’s fat, while we’re used to picture the joker as quite thin. But look aside that, or imagine a fat joker. I can picture this guy being an insane clown of crime
wow haters. lets see your cosplays if you can do better? how many of you are fatties? most i imagine.
so you dont think im a hypocrite

I was never commenting on their size…well possibly the Wonder Woman guy…just on the quality of the costume. Star Wars, He Man, Batman, Thor and Iron Man are not heavy at all…it is their costume that makes it bad cosplay, not their physique. Actually now that I look at the Joker, I don’t hate it. Some of them I’m sure are intentionally bad – Wonder Woman obviously, and the Asian dude is clearly in it for the laughs. No self respecting drag queen would allow facial hair like that.
Pretty sure these pictures are only available to folks on your Friends List.
oh maybe so. my bad.
That Wonder Woman looks like Craig from Malcolm In The Middle in drag
Ow. My eyes. I’m out of shape, and I still don’t get why cosplayers refuse to dress up in their size…
